Yep. That's a major reason why concert tickets have gone so sky high for the most sought-after pop acts. The floor will be filled no matter what. It's been stunning to see some of the arenas empty in recent years, but I was glad to see Jiffy Lube jam-packed still.

I wasn't surprised when they started asking for $85/$95 for the premium reserved seats. That was only a matter of time. But this jump definitely stings. And stinks. What can you do?

I'm fine with it. It's not that much, and there are a lot of expenses on the band/company too. I wouldn't think they would do it unless they had to for some reason imo. Compared to Springsteen, Rush, David Gilmour, Fleetwood Mac, and countless others I've seen, DMB are still the cheapest front row seats for a very popular band with a lot of members that I've come across. Just me though. could be a lot worse.

As a business owner I understand the costs of business increase and so the consumer is the one that has to pay for it. What I guess bothers be is in the concept of seniority and the increases. I have been an member since Jan 02 and while the annual WH package is pretty stellar the bonus was for the possibility of better seats at some shows. This new tier of pricing essentially circumvents that, one of the best features was the possibility of better seats at the same prices as everyone else. Will I still go? Probably, but each year the number of shows I hit has dwindled, based on new material and now pricing.

Base price (face) will be the same. Fees will vary by outlet.

I've been buying lawn tickets for years. First it was because it was tough to get seats. Now for the last 5 or more years it's because Lawn is half the price of a seat.

I just can't do the lawn. don't want to be stuck in the rain if that happens. rather be in the seats anyway, but for my favorite band in Camden, no question no matter what.
