I'm street parking somewhere in South Philly and then taking the Broad St line down to hang out at Xfinity before the show.

Parking was $20 last night for the Sixers game in the K lot. I would assume the same price for lots surrounding CBP and the Well.

No opening band. Probably about 8:15 - 8:20. There will be other band members with him.

I saw a few people with them but be advised all posters are sold pre rolled and in mini tubes.

Did the same and ended up with a primo spot. They even let me leave and drop my crap back off at my car. Quite the walk to do it twice but worth it for 10 bucks.

Overheard while leaving the show - did Dave just make up lyrics to All Along the Watchtower. Ugh!

OSW opener is always a classic. Bayou had a nice extended jam that felt like a song that would come in the back half of the set. Then a #41 and I was like "oh, it's on". DYR kinda killed the mood a little but Seven got everyone back into it. PNP>LIOG was a HUGE surprise. At this point I felt like there were going to be a lot of surprises or a lot of jamming because they've already played a long Bayou, #41 and LIOG after 6 spots.

Burning Down the House got the crowd rocking but it seemed out of place. While I like Can't Stop it seemed too similar right after BDtH. Granny was a nice palate cleanser and everyone seemed really excited for Say Goodbye. Crowd almost sang "Hani, Hani" for the entirety of Everyday and it had a nice little jam by Buddy at the end. Barely any reaction for Kill the Preacher. Why I Am got a huge pop. Again and Again was ok but seemed out of place. So Right was rocking as always.

Here On Out was an odd choice here but maybe it was to give everyone but Dave a break? DDTW, Crash and Grey Street standard big crowd pleasers.

Christmas Song then Watchtower and you're out the door.

Overall I thought this was a weird show. Nothing terrible but as is well documented on this site the setlist flow is lacking. They came out swinging but I feel like if they flipped some of the songs that were played early with some of the songs that were played later it would have worked better. Also nothing played from UTTAD at all is slightly different (for me at least).

In regards to the crowd maybe it was where I was (CB10) but there were a lot of talkers. But it seemed that way the entire concert when there was a slow part it was almost as if the whole arena was talking. Also saw a lot of empty seats in the upper levels. Could be that it was a Tuesday night. (Although it didn't stop one woman who sat in front of me from partying so much that she fell asleep and then vomited and was out after LIOG.)

Solid review. Definitely get the "weird" vibe, but still enjoyable. So Right, Granny, Say Goodbye, Grey Street were incredible standouts....but PNP--> LIOG was phenomenal. Tim was out of this world during his solo.

Also I could really do w/o OSW openers...for the rest of their touring career. I get the whole "ah let people get to their seats with a soft opener" (and they did start a little earlier than the usual 8:20pm) but comeeee onnnnnnn. So many other amazing songs that deserve that slot to set the tone for the rest of the show.

Last night's show had a very odd flow to it. Never seemed to gain any traction. I will say this, Bayou was freaking awesome, never thought I'd say that, but that was one of the highlights of the show for me.

People behind me in section 109 were hilarious. It was around 8PM, a few minutes from the band coming out and these guys begin to argue about whether or not there is an opening act. Finally the guy behind them goes "yeah there was, they came on at 6:30"..the two stopped arguing, but didn't realize the doors didn't even open up until 6:30.

After Seven the one guy goes "we just got a rare song" to his buddy

I had a woman near me on the floor vomit around the same time. Odd for a Tuesday night i thought.

Could be that people don't want to pay $85 for nosebleeds for a band that has been on the decline for sometime. Also it was a Tuesday.

Could be reaaaaalllly interesting to see how many days they play in Camden this year and what that venue looks like on show night.
