I need Grand Canyon to win so I at least get ONE upset Cinderella run correct in this god forsaken tournament.

Holy shit! If you're Houston, how do you even let someone catch that ball behind the 3 point line?

It was an awkward inbound pass, i think that's how it happened, otherwise the plan was probably to foul once they caught the pass.

Was there any talk about the previous play and why the refs called a jump ball when there didn't seem to be anything close to justify that call. The Houston defender was standing with the ball by himself after he got the rebound and the refs call jump ball. Of course the announcers didn't say anything about it.

    I think you are.

I’m watching the Iowa game rn. So many airballs. No dunks. And I don’t even trust that WV gets a fair shake because Iowa losing = zero eyes on the rest of the tournament.

That free throw disparity is quite something, but in the time I’ve watched, WVU has been mugging Iowa every time up the floor.

Iowa scored 16 points in the 4th quarter despite making one shot from the field.

Didn’t watch the first Iowa game but sounds like Clark had a much better game. I don’t see them getting into final 4, maybe elite 8.

Hot take, but Geno is correct and Paige Bueckers is the best female player in the country.

WVU ladies got shafted pretty hard by the refs last night. 30 FT to 5 and a 27-11 foul differential is inexcusable no matter how physical they were playing. The arm bar from the Iowa player in the last 2 mins that resulted in 2 shots for them was the cherry on top.

I considered going to see AZ/Clemson here in LA, but then I realized I can't watch my Huskies tip 30 minutes later. Hate the scheduling of the Elite 8.

    Scheduling doesn’t get enough hate.
No reason there should be 940 east coast tips on a Sunday the first weekend. Also, same logic for the Thursday sweet 16 games.

    I meant Sweet 16*

Also, the round of 32 was pretty dumb with having the first 2 games each day completely on an island, and then overlapping later on.
