The season isn't even a month old yet. Can teams formally protest his presence on the field? If both teams refuse to play can they be forced to forfeit? I think the teams know in advance who the umps are for the season. Write a formal letter of protest in advance of the game. If one team does it and gets away with it, others should follow.
