Interesting concept but I want to listen to a full song leading to a jam.

    For sure.

I like it for when I am trying to focus or something. Works really well in that scenario for me. Especially working from home.

Yea, same here. There's something about the main part of Sand, Carini and Tweezer, for example, leading into their jams that just make the song so much more impactful.

Especially that drop about 4minutes or so into tweezer. One of my favorite parts of seeing phish in concert

Add Piper to that list for me. Although not always jammed out, when it is is it is one of my favorite jam vehicles. And I love the intro/regular beginning of the song as a build up to that.

See, this I totally get. I usually put music on while working, especially now since I'm doing it from home. And man, a nice tasty jam really gets me in a good thinking mindset.

I've found myself putting on whole shows and three hours of work flies by. Some days that's not a good thing when dealing with a deadline

    8/11/2018:

SET 1: Blaze On > Party Time, Breath and Burning, Sugar Shack, Home, Joy, Stash, 46 Days

SET 2: Sand > Mercury -> Ghost > Fuego > Slave to the Traffic Light

ENCORE: Twenty Years Later > Martian Monster > Rocky Top > Golgi Apparatus

This show on paper looks solid to me. Got low ratings on .net. Listening all the way through today. Trey flubbed some songs in the 1st set, but overall solid. On Mercury now.

Was anyone at this show? I know Zilla was.

That first set looks pretty rough. I like Blaze On well enough and it's a fine start to a show. Party Time is alright but after those two I'd really need something to kick me back into the show. Breath>Sugar>Home>Joy would suck me right out of a show. Not sure even a jammed out Stay or Days could rectify that set.

Second set looks like a monster though.

I was at this show, not a great memory. Stash, Ghost and Sand were all underwhelming.

The next night on 8/12 is straight fire though

Wasn't expecting much from this, but I dig it.

Are there general thoughts on the album as a whole? I haven't loved a lot of the solo stuff I've heard recently, but this song has me thinking I should check it out.
