They can always just revert back to the way they played it in 2016, and the 2016 version were pretty darn close to the 2006 versions.

Overall it was different version, and nothing’s wrong with different. Unless it’s cutting the LS jam.

Out of the 14 shows so far, this is only the 2nd unreleased show they've played. The first was Deer Creek, which was the first show in the series. I'm thinking this one might be the DMB Drive-In series finale.

I could see it going beyond that if they continue to sell posters, get donations and views. They have a ton of audio only official releases they could do and if they ever want to throw in unreleased stuff like this week they have that at their disposal too.

I have no idea what their threshold is for making this worth it for them, but I could see it going for a while.

Would they tho? I wish I could be as certain as you are. I pretty much assumed that something as cool as this would have been cut short after a couple of months. But I am very glad to be wrong! Still, I'm at the point where I consider every Wednesday as "the finale".. makes for a nice bonus when I'm proved wrong the following week!

Yeah, sorry, haven't been up to date much on the whole drive in / xm thing. I thought they were basically doing the same on each channel/station now.

I heard it on XM yesterday.. didn't get all the details since I wasn't really paying attention to it.

Yeah it seems like the original plan was for Sirius to rebroadcast the drive-in shows, but that got a lot of backlash and changed plans. Also, Listener Supported was supposed to be a part of the drive-in series in June and that got backlash and they canceled it. They said it was because of the civil unrest going on, but they never revisited it.

I saw on the band website and SiriusXM page that 9/19/08 from Staples Center would be a Friday night show. I cant tell if it is dark of me to want the video of that show as well as a Drive-In show.

I mean it literally says Staples Center... It makes more sense for a typo of one number than an entire venue name
