They’re trying to get a tour in. They are far less concerned about logistics than they usually are. Don’t put any weight on things not making sense logistically.

Fewer shows spaced out over more time = there probably will be lots of mid-weeks and some weekends that get skipped, making logistics less of a concern.

They aren't reworking the tour and announcing it without doing it. Large events are happening unless something absolutely catastrophic happens with regards to covid and that isn't going to happen.

I wonder whether this is relevant for this thread, or not:

Burning Man festival organizers have said that they are considering requiring attendees to prove they have been vaccinated for COVID-19 if the organizers move forward with plans to hold this year’s counter-culture festival in the Nevada desert.

The organizers backed off an earlier statement indicating that they had already decided to make the shots mandatory. They say they won’t decide for sure until the end of the month whether the event that was canceled last year because of the pandemic will take place this summer.

Burning Man CEO Marian Goodell said in a video message posted on the group’s web site on April 8 that “vaccines will be required to come to Burning Man.” She erroneously said at that time that the state of Nevada requires that people have proof of being vaccinated at large gatherings.

She acknowledged last weekend in an updated statement on the group's web site that she “misspoke.”

Having vaccine requirements would be awesome. A lot of the country is vaccinated now so it’s not unreasonable.

A handful of bad actors will have fake vaccine cards, but I don’t imagine it would be a huge percentage of the audience

Id imagine they will require vaccine card or negative test and require masks when not actively eating or drinking. There will also be language on the ticket and in the venue saying you assume all risk and we aren't liable.

Just realized Raleigh is exactly 2 years since my last show in Alpharetta. Kind of cool that it hits on the anniversary
