Purple Mountains def sounded upbeat while driving, didn’t pay much attention to the lyrics

Wilco single isn’t bad....I feel like Star Wars and Whole Love they really meticulously paid attention to instrumentation. Schmilco less so, and also in this song. Feels like more of a Tweedy song, a little simple lacking a punch. I also judge songs by a band this prolific based on how excited I’d be to see it live and this one not so much.

we could do album of the year at first like we normally do and once that's over, we could start taking in lists for album of the decade around the new year.
