You think they will let us put up a tarp over the cars? Anyone reach out to JLL and check to see if they will lighten up on the canopies under the circumstances?



I also wonder if they'll push back opening the lots due to the weather. Shots in the Target parking lot?

Hydration is definitely important, both for pre-gaming as well as during the show! The venue has just put up their day of show info (https://www.livenation.com/venues/14407/jiffy-lube-live), and that includes the information that each person CAN bring up to 1 gallon of water in a factory-sealed bottle into the venue.

I'll be volunteering with Reverb on Saturday evening at JLL, from the time gates open at 6:30pm up til 8pm. We'll be selling the Reverb/Nalgene/DMB water bottles at the Eco Village tent ($20 each), with free water refills all night from the 'Rock n Refill' filling station. You can also use the filling station to fill-up bottles you've brought from outside...please take advantage of it. All of the DMB water bottle sale proceeds to go Bama Works, and their work this year is retrofitting affordable housing units in Charlottesville with solar paneling.

We'll also have rovers going around the venue with the water bottles (look for folks with the green shirts)...the rovers can take cash but the folks at the Eco Village tent can take cash and cards. Also, there are other cool things to check out at the tent, including a entering to win a Dave-signed Martin guitar.

Stay hydrated, stay happy!

I don't think they'll push opening the lots back, just because the surrounding areas would get so crowded.

Not sure with the tarps, just figured it was an idea. can't hurt to try ya know

Thanks! Great idea and it worked, I sent them a message and they messaged back pretty quickly - but unfortunately no family zone. However they did clarify there is a Warehouse preferred lawn zone, which SPAC did not have. Huh.

eta: Decided to spoiler my ponderings in case anyone is deliberately not looking at recent sets.

Sooo... realistically, back in 2009 they played Blue Water teases and partials they ended up playing a couple minutes of Blue Water. It gets played at SPAC last weekend and it gets played at Dave's solo show last night. Any chance it shows up on Saturday? Also, a few things debuted at CMAC and then showed up a few shows later. Might be in the running for some interesting things to pop up in a few days like Alligator Pie or Little Red Bird.

Man that's hot. I was thinking of driving down from Philly to catch the show with a stop in DC Friday because I'm flying by the seat of my pants right now in life. IF I do would any Ants be willing to let me crash their tailgate? I'd obviously be willing to throw some $$$ your way for the troubles of a stranger showing up!

Going to the Lubez, first time back there (for DMB at least) since 2009. Super pumped! Anyone else already making mock setlists in their mind of what we want them to play? (I do that beforehand for every DMB show).

I'd love if a guest, whether Lawlor, or someone especially like R. Randolph, guested on a tune though I don't know how realistic it is. I think since it'll be live streamed on YouTube the boys (esp Dave) will take that into account when writing the setlist, or so I'm telling myself.
