I actually think it's a pretty good movie. Dave just makes it a lot better.

My sister is a preacher's wife and I told her to rent the movie for her kids. They loved it!

I think it is funny because my sister didn't even know who Dave Matthews was(and would probably douse her TV with holy water if she did) before I bought Where the Red Fern Grows (which I actually enjoyed more than Because of Winn-Dixie) for my niece and nephews. They have almost worn the tape out!

I really liked both the book and the movie. It seems like even in the book Otis was written with Dave in mind!

I've heard Butterfly in concert a couple of times (9.18.04 & 9.11.05), as well as Glory Glory.

because the winn dixie appreciation is of dire importance. i could see how someone woudl be so overcome with emotion that searching was not an option.

and dont call me a dick unless you have good reason.

furthermore, i didn't make the rules. i follow them.
