So a friend of mine informed that his brother used Steady As We Go as his first dance at his wedding and that was the song my girl and I picked for ours. I'm sure there's a few people on here that have used a DMB song for something like that. We were just curious! And who better to ask than other DMB fans?

My brother used SAWG for his wedding a couple of years ago. I used Waste for mine in 05. As for other occasions... I've never really thought about it.

My wife and I got married in Mexico last year. We had about 35 people at the wedding. We picked out a few songs to be played at certain points of the wedding. The wedding party all walked up the aisle to #34.

We had a reception back home about a month after our wedding for the big party. Our wedding dance for the two of us was Up and Away.

Came into my wedding reception to Two Step from Piedmont park with the crowd going nuts and the beat pumpin....that was prettty cool, one of the few things all weekend that my wife let me decide but I made the most of it! lol

got married 3 weeks ago...during dinner we wanted soft jazz type music, so we had rat pack type stuff, had #34 play

for our picture slideshow, when it came for my pictures I had BOWA playing

we walked into the reception to SMLAM at 1:10, "Love me baby, love me baby...forever I'm yours, yours, yours"

i wanna use something off of SD, or possibly Grey Street. The SD tracks are great for the occasion, Grey Street just because it's always been my #1.

During my brother's wedding last year, I was the live music during the whole day. I was playing Halloween constantly . . . kidding. While everyone was getting together and getting seated for the ceremony, I was just playing #34.

When they walked down the isle, I played an instrumental version of David Gray's song This Year's Love (and then sang it when they walked back up the isle, after they were married).

I did also play Jane and Recently later in the day.

I walked down the aisle to my sister's bf playing Lover Lay Down on his guitar. Instrumental only. Then my 2 friends, who are psy-trance dj's, played the rest of the wedding. It was not your typical wedding reception.

We are also have a DMB tribute band play for 3 hours at our reception before the DJ. We get to make the set list ourselves which I am pretty pumped about.

Ironically, I went to a wedding about that same time and the dj played #34.

For Our anniversary I made a slide show of pictures we had taken during various memorable moments in our relationship and put lld behind it. Posted it on YouTube and sent it to her at work. She loved it

My wife surprised me by having it engraved on our bands as well... even though we weren't at the Beach. She doesn't even like DMB... but she likes that song and wanted it played at the wedding. I thought engraving was a waste of money, but now I actually think about it when You and Me comes on the XM radio. So I think it served its purpose for her.
