So does anyone know how big the pit is at summerfest? I know alpine and Chicago are typically bigger pits than most.

It's a little bigger than that. On the ticketmaster website it shows that row H is where the pit ends. Still not that big though compared to Alpine.

For anyone that has sat there before, how is the view from the bleacher seats? I originally didn't plan to do this show since I'm doing both Chicago x2 and Deer Creek x2, but my good buddy from MKE and his wife asked me to come up so I figured I might as well - they got our tickets and ended up in bleachers. I don't really mind as I've got really good seats to 3/4 other shows so I'm kind of just looking at this one as a bonus.

I believe the bleacher seats are new this year. This will be the first year open after the remodel.

The bleachers have been there for quite some time. I have never sat there myself but it seems a bit of a ways back. There are screens on the outside of the venue that you can see what is going on on the stage.

I sat Bleachers Sec 19 Row B in 2014. Second row of the bleachers. I'd compare the view basically to the lawn rail at Alpine. Maybe just a bit further back

My bad. Ive only done lawn and the closer section seats. I never realized there were even bleachers there. Just assumed the packed more seats in for the remodel. Anyway Im excited to see what they did, that place needed it.

You are going to have to wait until next year. I believe they are remodeling the venue after this year's Summerfest.

There won't be any other acts before DMB on the Marcus (or whatever they call it now) stage. The amphitheater headliner is a completely separate ticketed event from the rest of the festival. So yes there will be many other bands playing during the day on the multiple stages there, but no other acts besides DMB in the amphitheater.

People with general festival tickets cannot enter the DMB show (though if you have a ticket to the DMB show, that also includes admission to the rest of the festival.)

I have lived in Milwaukee basically my entire life, I know the drill

I was telling them to get there and check out Summerfest and all it has to offer. Would be a waste to just get there and hit the show.
