Let's face it, the parking situation isn't the best, but I think it's improved a great deal over the past year. There are some inherent obstacles (the lake & Rt. 690) that really limit the options. Come if you'd like or pass, either way the show will sell out and we'll all have a great time!

Cheers to that. If you're going to whine about parking and traffic flow just stay home. I don't understand the obsession with having to be the first one out of the parking lot, crack a beer and people watch. No parking situation at any arena, concert venue, or stadium I've ever been to has been quick. It's just the way it is.

I agree with every assessment of how awful the parking is no matter where you park at Lakeview. The amp itself sits on a pool of toxic waste and generally the lake is far too rancid to put up with the smell for any show. Building it in Syracuse was a HUGE mistake and another classic example of people foolishly trying to move the city out of the dark ages and attract some artists to play in the area...I mean, heck, a bottled water costs $6. $6!!! And they won't let you bring more than a one gallon container of your own sealed water in.

Everyone should get in touch with the Warehouse and see if they will let you cancel your requests and stay home that night...or head over to the mall and see how quickly you can drive in drive out of that parking lot.

I'll be a team player and go to the show and report back.

I've been to countless venues to see DMB and other artists - I sat in downtown Hartford after a show for what seemed like hours trying to get out, I paid I don't know how much outrageous money for a Sierra Nevada Torpedo at Berkeley...Syracuse does not have the exclusive rights to traffic, concession prices, or anything else our local citizens like to complain about, many while never having actually seen a show there.

Heck, I'll even periscope the show so nobody has to bother.

THIS. The place is gorgeous and parking situation is NOTHING compared to Darien or ending up on the wrong side of the SPAC parking lots.

I was skeptical of this Ampitheater being built more out of concern it'd be a homing beacon for bad country and washed up classic rock acts. While there's plenty of that, there's still 3-5 shows the first three years my friends and I hit up. It's worth every penny to this community, parking issues or not.

Will be on our honeymoon when DMB comes to town this year, unfortunately. But I'll echo all of the positive comments about my hometown venue. I've been to 6 shows since it's opened and have enjoyed every second of it. The views are fantastic and the sound is top notch. We're lucky to have this place in Syracuse. The city is full of naysayers, but those of us who have enjoyed the amphitheater can only laugh at the pessimism. If you're going here for the first time this year, you'll walk away impressed. And parking should definitely be improved this year.

Looking forward to ZBB here and whatever else has yet to be announced that sounds appealing!
