I'm exactly in the same boat as you. I almost don't want to pay the $60 or more even though I've parked in the first lot on the right off the highway for a few years, but I've also done the free lots. If I do the free lots (talking Mansfield here) and leave during the encore, I have a shot of getting onto the highway 15 minutes later. But if I wait, I'm fucked.

Yup. Although this year you can probably let the first note of E1 hit to see what it is then bounce and not miss much.

Most lots were charging $30 for Dead & Co. on Wednesday. Prices do fluctuate show to show and the DMB shows are always on the higher end for the season. (I’ve gone to multiple shows at this venue each year for the better part of 20 years.) Expect to pay $40+ and be happy if I’m wrong, hope I am.

That sounds accurate.. I don't think I paid 60 for Weezer 2 years ago...there has been some shows I went to at Mansfield they didn't even bother opening that private lot....which sends me into a panic lol

I believe Erotic Zone was $40 2 years ago and it usually goes up $5 a year

Here is a post about the lots from a few years ago. There was a map that went along with it, but the link is dead now.

1. Main Venue Lot - Closest lot to the venue, a lot of long-time/hardcore fans, a little more mellow than most lots, but still definitely a great time

2. Traintracks - most expansive lot with a lotttt of people, tons of fun, parked there the past few years, does usually get backed up after the show however

3. Expo Lot - this is usually the rowdiest/drunkest lot, mostly full of bros and people there mostly just for the party, but of course there are always good fans mixed in there. i haven't parked in the expo lot for dmb in years. to many douches for me.

4. Midas Lot - this is a favorite of mine. it's a grass lot, so it's a nice atmosphere. here, you'll find a lot of dizzy bat, polish horseshoes, beer pong, cornhole(beanbag toss), and similar games. there's usually a guy selling bowls and other pieces around this lot too, if that's your thing

5. Rehab Lot - at the weston st. & rehab center bus stop. this is a really fun, laid back lot. a lot of chill people.

6. Jiffy Lube - smallest lot. the first lot i tailgated in actually. good lot. no more than a dozen cars or less if i remember correctly. so if you come with a big group and get there early, you can own the lot

7. Erotic Zone - a local favorite. i haven't had much experience in this lot, though so someone else can describe this one. from what i hear, its always a good time

8. Mid Weston St. - this one's smack dab in the center of weston st. good lot, haven't parked here in a while

9. Quizno's Lot - great lot. parked here in 2010 one of the nights and had a blast. lot of good people

10 & 11. McDonalds and Burger King - the farthest lots. usually pretty rowdy, but i have definitely had a good time here. the walk is a bitch after the show, but on the way in, you get to see every lot.

12. Bridge Lot - another large dirt lot. this one is really fun and is a big mix of people. a lot of out-of-towners it seems. if you park here, and stay in that lot the whole time, you'll miss out on all of the happenings across the bridge where ALL of the other lots are. the walk in is fun. the walk back sucks.

VIP has its own exit. Premier parking is just the front of the main lots. There is a difference!

Forgot the new name of the hotel but its a different company now. A friend booked it and a few weeks after booking he was notified of the name change

How do you go about purchasing VIP and premier? Parking for some of these venues is too confusion.. any link to a map for parking sold thru the venue?

General rule of thumb

Premier Parking - available for purchase through WH and is included with any WH Premium Packages

VIP Parking - Available through some venues but is usually held for season ticket holders of the venue itself.


FYI - Stubhub has plenty of VIP Parking for cheap. If you really want them, snatch it up before they take a price hike. I purchased Mansfield VIP Parking for a friend 2 weeks ago, ended up costing $50 with fees - they are $155 now.

As others have mentioned, it's called the Red Lion now. I stayed at the Radisson in 2016 and had a really good experience. They were playing DMB throughout the hotel and even changed the names of drinks on their menu to DMB themed names. The bar was packed after the show. It's also the closest hotel to the venue, which is an added plus.

The only downside is that they charge for parking in their underground garage.

I stayed at the Radisson in 2013 and walked to a concert at Webster Hall which was a nightmare of a walk in the middle of November. But I’m glad to hear it’s a fun spot to stay for DMB.

So is Xfinity Theatre a clusterfuck like Jiffy Lube and Mansfield?

Assuming it is, whats the best way to avoid it? I'm not concerned with tailgating, I'm concerned w/ getting the fuck out of dodge ASAP, but I don't want to leave the show early.

No where near as bad as either of those venues. Your best bet is to park past burger king and youll be able to jet out super quick.

If you’re not going to tailgate, I,be had good luck parking at the Radisson for $20 and not getting stuck in traffic. And I never leave the show early.
