Nah, it's actually kind of cool looking and felt somewhat unique as far as sheds go, it just felt super overcrowded to me. Like, just trying to walk around the concourse to get beer or take a piss felt like a chore.

And the will-call situation on N1 was a fucking disaster.

I think the public sale kind of sucked for everyone, if I recall correctly, but we had a big group and through WH and public we were able to get everyone seats. So nothing insane. Lawn won't be an issue.

Reserved at the Wingate by Wyndham Greenwood Village/Denver Tech. Have a friend that lives in the apartment building right next door so seems like an easy area to walk. Got on hotels.com for $328.54 taxes and all for Friday/Saturday. (Refundable)

Free place to stay at my friend's house who lives walking distance from the venue makes it ok by me too.

My thoughts exactly. It’s better than skipping Colorado, which is what I was expecting.

Think I'm ready for this again. I sort of dig the every-other-year mantra the promoters out there have backed since 2013. The off years give me a chance to travel to see the band, but by the next year I'm hungry for Denver DMB.

I haven't traveled to see DMB in years, not that I'm against it, it's just more difficult with active kids now in the summer so if they don't come to Denver I likely won't see them. I don't love that they skip Colorado so frequently as a result but it is what it is. Fiddlers sound has improved quote a bit and it's more convenient (selfishly) than Pepsi/Dicks (sucks) or RR so I'm pretty stoked.

Yeah, I'm not dying for a DMB return to RR like most people in the area. I don't think they'd consider how much of a nightmare it would be. Not to mention ticket prices on the secondhand market. If your Warehouse request didn't go through, good luck.

Red Rocks is a headache for the tiniest of events. I can't imagine what a 2-3 show DMB stand would be like. They'd need to rent that place out for a week to make it feasible for me. Plus —*the DMB Fam would be out in droves for something like this.

Gonna be flying in from NY for this weekend! thinking of getting an Airbnb house anyone know of a good area and how easy Uber and such is in the area? Is it within distance to stay in downtown Denver?

Yeah I hear ya. Back in 2005 I was fortunate enough to get tickets to all 4 shows but sat next to people every night from out of state. A lot of my local friends couldn't get tickets as the demand was so high. 9000 at RR is a little different than 40k or whatever Alpine holds for example. RR is more nostalgic than anything else, for me anyhow.

It's a little bit of a drive from downtown Denver. Around 15 miles.

Yeah it's a ways but the RTD light rail is an easy option and very short walk if you wanted to stay downtown. Uber is certainly an option but it get crowded near Fiddlers as it's basically surrounded by a business park. That can be alleviated if you again don't mind a short walk to avoid the crowd and get dropped off nearby as opposed to right at the entrances.

Actually I see the Rail stops at Orchard Station and its only a 1 mile walk from there...only about a 30 minute ride from downtown. That might be the best option! Didn't know they had a rail service so thank you!

These should be interesting after a month off and sort of a warm up for the Gorge. We got a couple pretty good ones 2 years ago in Denver, hoping for even better this time. Dave sampling the local industry shouldn't hurt

I haven't lived there in so long that I didn't know that about the light rail.

I’d never wish fiddlers over Red Rocks for my worst enemy but oh well.

For me, I don’t like that it’s the weekend before the gorge which we are/were planning to head to.

Maybe do Friday with all the kids or something. We’ll see.
