I love my tent camping, but we did do an RV for a festival in oklahoma last fall and man was it nice and convenient...and air conditioned.

Requests in for the good stuff through Hairhouse... Oasis seems to become available even after ticket bastard is open, and we never heard back from them regarding a loyalty program, so we'll see. I'm definitely a fan, at least when they've got hot water in the showers.

The gorge will make you forget all of those alpine tears. The gorge is alpine on steroids. Only thing gorge doesn’t have is spotted cow but it makes up for it with the sights, sounds, and people. Its gunna change your life.

Knowing this, would it be wisest to just request camping through the WH and if that fails, try another camp? Ive always heard great things about Wildhorse so that would probably be choice #2 if the WH camping failed.

Or is WH camping or the Gorge not worth it and im way better off private camping anyways?

wildhorse is private camping. it goes on sale this thursday and will sellout instantly. not a backup option.

you wont be denied camping at the venue, but it might not be the tier you want.

N1 - Lawn
N2 & N3 - pit/seats
Terrace camping

I'm leaning towards an RV, working on quotes right now. Hope it works out and I finally make it!

In the past you could get them on the citi presale as well.

Typically if you are diligent and on right during onsale, I think you can get them.

The people that procrastinate or try to get them later generally have a tougher time. They always pop up on the boards now, as plans change.

Our group & Russ' group easily secured a large amount the last few years. Our camp probably had 6-8? Then Russ' camp another 8-10...

Gotcha. If I miss on WH I will be making it a point to be on top of TM on sale anyways. Nice to know they pop up on here also

Already requested, isolated, boxed, and declared I will not be at work during these days. Looking forward to the adventure and getting to know you folks! It's been too many years not making the trek.

For any level of camping through the WH there looks to be a 2 ticket limit.

Does 1 ticket= 1 vehicle? We have 3 people going.....

Really hoping there are some openers this year. Looks like in 2016 they announced on 2/25/16 that Lake Street Dive was opening, so there's still a chance we'll get some warm up bands this year
