New to the area as of October 2017. Really excited to get to go to this show on a Friday night.

I've got the same cycling event conflict I always have the weekend after labor day, so Tahoe is my only show again. Fun venue, should be a great time!

Seems pretty small and intimate. I went ahead and requested GA.

Its a huge GA area (converted parking lot) with metal bleachers at the back and sides. Its not super small, but its not too big either. Good spot to see a show, 2015 was tons of fun.

I grew up in Tahoe. Great time to be at the lake for a show. Venue is OK but the place is beautiful. Ill be in need of tickets if I get denied through the Wherehouse. Any help would be great. Thank DMB family. TAHOE!!!!!!!

Tahoe Friday and Shoreline Saturday, this is going to be a good weekend. And there is nothing intimate about a parking lot with soccer mom bleachers. Not a fan of Harvey's but I'll take any stop within 3 hours.

Basically what snake said. I was there in 13' and I would have went back in 15' but had prior obligations. I will more then likely be there this year. Room already booked and comped under my TR card. Apparently no rooms w/ balconies viewing the venue are available. (Thanks Vegas)

I've been to the last two shows here. Its a nice venue, not too big. The casino room prices have gone up and the airbnb rooms are getting booked too. Don't wait too long to get a room.

The crowd size for this venue isnt that large. I was there in 2015. Its is nearly everyone there is GA and it pretty much is a stage setup in the rear parking lot of Harvey's. I booked a room at Harvey's also with my TR. When I saw the tour dates announced, first thing I did was book a room at that hotel. I got mine at $135 without fees. I just looked now, starting at $249. So Hard Rock Hotel is just a reconverted older casino there?

One thing I noticed back in 2015 there were a lot of extra tickets being sold. Im curious if you could still purchase tickets day of. The set in 2015 was great, and I even got to meet Boyd 1hr after in the parking lot with several others.

Really jealous of this and the Phish shows. I loved this area when I was there and it seems like the perfect place to see both bands

Confirmed for reserved! Excited to see a show here. My girlfriend’s parents live about 20 minutes away so it will be perfect.

Nice! I actually realized after the request period closed that reserved was probably the way to go... Since you could access the GA area and then have a seat if you wanted it. But, I won't complain that I was confirmed for a GA ticket! Love this venue! Can't wait to get back to Tahoe!

Can someone help me out with a question about the venue? If I get a GA ticket, can I get up close to the stage provided I get there early?

I've only been to Shoreline before on the back lawn and would love to get up close for once. Thanks for any advice!

Yes. The whole venue is GA. First come first seat.

Just check out the venue seating chart. The huge floor in front is all GA. Reserved bleacher-style seating is in the back. Those are the only 2 options.

As others have said, Yes get there early and you get up front. Its a huge GA area with some bleachers at the back (no backrests, and metal bleachers so bring something to sit on). Can get cold at night (real cold) so bring something to walk out of the show in. The Hard Rock was renovated well a couple years back, it and the Mont Bleu are probably two of the nicer big hotels nearby. the Hard Rock is the host hotel for the Tour de Tahoe (bike ride that circles the lake on sunday, which is the reason I'll be up there) so the rooms they do have might be higher priced than everything else. Lots of good VRBO and AirBnB just over the state line in CA. The VRBO market (and prices) drop off dramatically after Labor Day. Its a great time to be up there with the crowds gone.

I’ve never heard of wh declining a ticket request to Harvey’s. That tells you right there how much hype there is around this stop. Show up early and you’ll be fine. Standing all night is exhausting though so don’t be shy about sitting on the pavement until it starts.

Definitely the most laid back show I've ever been to. Last time I met Raab at the sound booth area in the middle of GA right after they opened the gates. Very chill atmosphere and I don't remember the crowds being that big at all.

However, there will be the token 20 rows or so of people standing at the stage as soon as the gates open. If you want to be super close, wait in line and go straight to your spot. Nobody likes the people who show up after everybody else and start squeezing their way to the front.

Camped out a couple years ago around 9 AM and was in the first 20 people easily inside the venue.... very chill place, could have showed up a lot later... happy to be going back after the Gorge this year

Awesome! Makes sense though, much more demand for a Friday than a Wednesday. Those early morning drives back to the city were brutal.
