I get the thinking and I understand the need for protections of religious freedom. I do not understand how it squares against common sense sometimes though. When I read that little bit of the story from the tweet, I just kind of sighed and thought to myself, "here we go".
I'm not really incensed or anything though, the idea of protecting the way people wish to worship is incredibly important for our society and for me personally even though I don't participate or believe in anything like a church. I guess I just don't see this as a tough decision and wondered how bad it would have to be for the same people not wanting their religious freedoms infringed upon would agree that, "yeah, we shouldn't do this".
