There are no new rules - simply an enhancement in enforcement.
He also violated the terms stated in the MLB memo about bad-faith checks, and reversed course after stating he wouldn’t ask for mid-inning checks because Max was dominating his team.
All around bush-league from Girardi, don’t try to pass that off on the league.
