Measuring Tiger against his era always turns into a disservice to Tiger, he wasn't playing against a long list of all time greats. What he did on the courses, shots he pulled off, performance under pressure etc. was unreal.

Trying to think, I've never heard Donald talk about golf at all other than "I play golf" or "I play the best golf."

Never a discussion about his game that day, his approach on a hole or a round, struggles with a course, difficult with a particular club or distance. Never anything of substance.

I'm not saying that's bad, he's not a pro golfer. Just musing that I've never heard that from somebody who plays so much golf.

Jack is the greatest champion, Tiger played at a higher level than anyone in the history of the game. That's not my opinion, it's from his coaches Butch Harmon and Hank Haney, two of the most respected coaches in the game.

Tiger's best was better than Jack's best and that is really beyond debate. Even Jack gives Tiger that. Jack did win more professional majors. Tiger also won 6 consecutive USGA titles which will never be touched.
