Where do I even begin with this show? It's got a lot of history and a lot of problems with the sound.

This show was recorded by the band using multiple cameras and a SBD feed for the audio. The video is in circulation but it is very hard to track down. This is mostly due to the fact that the recording is such high generation that it's hard to watch. It must literally have 15 or 20 generations on it, or more. I am pretty sure the audio for this source is from the video.

There is an MPEG video of the Once In A Wild Afternoon performance of this going around, and it gives you an idea of the quality of the video as a whole.

This show has a really good setlist, including the extremely rare song "Once On A Wild Afternoon", but the recording quality is so bad that it makes it hard to listen to sometimes.

There is what sounds like echo or reverb when Dave talks. I am not sure if that's due to the high generation or from the venue acoustics. More likely the high generation.

The sound drops out in numerous spots, including Two Step and Spotlight.

Dave mentions that he loves the song Help Myself so much that it makes him sick to his stomach.

The begining of WWYS is missing.

Once on A Wild Afternoon is cut at the end of the show. This is the first performance of the song. The only other time it was played was Dave solo on 09/11/92. It was teased by Dave when he was very drunk playing solo at an Agents of Good Roots show on 06/03/96.

Also, the date of June 1st may not be accurate. That was a Monday, and the band usually only played the Floodzone on Wednesdays. June 1st may just indicate that the show was from sometime in June (or even the summer) of 1992.

These rare older shows have been collected and converted through a collaborative effort to get them into circulation. Sometimes these shows do not have the best sound quality (and maybe that's why they aren't circulated much to begin with), but people should have access to them.

Thanks to Mary Ann Lawry for the CD source used for the conversion.

UPDATE: Received the flac files from Adam to review this rare source. First of all, the show date was confirmed as 6/17/92 per dmbalmanac.com who confirmed this with Thomas Vinson who videotaped this show. The source sounds incredibly horrid and there's little that can be done to improve on it. Due to the rarity of this 1992 source it should still be released to the community in the absence of the original dat source or a better copy of the cd that was donated. Using Soundforge 8.0, applied the following: Normalization to all tracks to -0.08db due to low volume, Graphic EQ at 0db to increase and improve the sound in general and Paragraphic EQ to filter out some of the hiss. In addition to the dropouts in Two Step and Spotlight, there is also a dropout at 3:35 of Ants (most likely from the VHS tape), at 2:16 and 4:57 of Watchtower, and at 2:18 of AFM. Fade out applied at the end of Once on a Wild Afternoon since it was cut off. This has to be the worst dmb source I've heard yet but it's enhanced enough to be able to listen to now.
