DMB Does SNL, Theaters are Next
Posted by Joe M in TV Appearances on 11/22/09 5:30pm
Following DMB’s way to homes across the country, next stop will be the Theaters. The Dave Matthews Band will hit the big screen as part of “Larger Than Life… 3D”. But it will only be for one week from Dec. 11th – 17th. From what we know it will contain DMB’s performance at the Austin City Limits Festival and also include performances by Ben Harper, Relentless 7, and Gogol Bordello and will be in (insert loud echo voice) 3D (end loud echo voice). For those of you that don’t have a Blue Ray player or the add-on HD channels to your cable/satellite, this will be a unique opportunity to check out DMB in theater quality High Definition, a unique experience on its own. It’s not playing everywhere so check out the website for locations and to see the trailer. Also check out the forums for more details about it. (Now if they would only do a show or two a year live in theaters…..)

DMB On SNL; Dave in Acoustic Guitar Magazine
Posted by Jake Vigliotti in TV Appearances on 11/5/09 9:53pm
The Dave Matthews Band is returning to television. According to an email from The Warehouse, DMB will preform on November 21 on Saturday Night Live. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be the guest host. Expect You and Me to be played, since it is the current single. The other song is a toss-up. Singles Funny The Way It Is and Why I Am are the front runners, but with an outside shot would be Shake Me Like A Monkey, the potential fourth single.
Acoustic Guitar Magazine also features Dave on the cover of their December issue. You can read the interview here, and also check out some of the chords from songs from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.
