I thought this show rocked my world. I would have never thought that JTR would be the first song. The highlight forme was either seek up or all along the watchtower.

It was great to be part of such loud crowd but at the same time, I always look forward to being closer to the band and seeing the interaction between them. Still awesome to say you were there though.

Another great show in support of Busted Stuff. We drove from Cleveland to Chicago, spent time with my sister and her husband in Lake Zurich, and then drove down to Chicago for the show. We walked from downtown to Soldier Field. This was the first time I had ever seen the facade of Soldier Field and I was blown away. We had great seats for this show, as well. Although they were a little to far left of center.

Hilarious experience at this show: We were sitting way up top in the horseshoe, and behind us was the sky boxes. The beer vendors were taking forever to come around, so some guy from down our row turned around, opened the skybox front window from his seat then hopped into the skybox and emptied the fridge in the skybox of beer, throwing them out the window to all the people outside who wanted beers. Never caught by security. He was treated to a hero's welcome when he came back out the window.

Fun. I like outdoor concerts, and 7/6's atmosphere was fun... at time a little too much "fun" for some fans who'd drank too much, and then there were teenie-girls. However dave fans were treated to a nice opening to the set (JTR through Bartender) then some everyday stuff... bets treat was SEEK UP late in the set! then Watchtower and TWO STEP (to most everyone's surprise.) PS Dave had WILD FEETS (looked fucked up on somehtin' too) durring the closer RAPUNZEL... way to go Dave

Hey everyone, This was the first Dave Show I had been to and it really was a great impression!
Dave Opens with JTR and just as he gets to "rain,rain,rain down on me" it starts to drizzle! Dave how did you do that? Now I'm hooked on DMB!

I actually had decent seats for this one! I could see the band . . . it was weird. Very cool show. Opened with JTR which was very cool cause they haven't played that one that much lately. Crush and Watchtower was highlights. It was weird to hear Watchtower mid-set. It's usually a closer.

The Daily Herald gave this show a bad review but I really enjoyed it. Buddy Guy was a great change from the usual Macy Gray opener. I thought BEF-> Bartender was beautiful and they jammed out on Seek Up. I love seeing shows at Soldier Field.

First row is cool. First row way out to the side at Soldier Field is quite a bit less cool. We had a great view of the speakers and other technical crap but not so much of Dave & the rest of the gang. Other than that is was a great day. We met Justin & Amy and some of their friends at Trader Vic's and ran up an outrageous tab. The Tiki Puka Puka is awesome because it has extra Puka. The show was well played and with JTR, Big Eyed Fish and Bartender, all the Everyday crap was more easily tolerated.

This show is in my top 5... the pre-show rain was awesome, and created an unbelievable energy in the crowd. Once DMB opened with JTR, and the "rain down on me" came out with an eruption from the fans, I knew it would be a show to remember...

this was a great 1st show, seek up, one sweet world, what can i say, it rocked, it was also funny to see the security guards try and get everyone on the field to stop standing on the seats, as soon as they got about 10 rows away everyone was back up on the seats, so it was like a wave effect, but all in all a great show and i had a blast

Not the best show I've seen but it's a DMB show so how bad can it be? Pretty mellow, but I was glad Macy Gray didn't show! We got to see Buddy Guy instead. Great show if you like the setlist.

Ahh, the weekend in Chicago to see DMB. Could ya ask for more? Great show!!! I had AWESOME seats for this. I could actually see Dave!!! The video monitors were really cool this year. Much bigger than normal and lots of cool effects screens with them. They played Crush which was sweet and All Along The Watchtower sounded so awesome tonight!

Totally fricken incredible show. 10x's better than their first Soldier Field visit the summer before. Four big screens instead of 2. Very bright and shiny pastel-ly colors if recall correctly. The sound was much fuller this time around. It really felt like they filled the stadium up. Probably one of my favorite set of shows out of all I've seen. I'm one of those fans that totally accepted Everyday for what it was and completely embraced it. I think a lot of fans are like that too. Very very incredible to hear those songs in their infancy. From start to finish it was nonstop enjoyment. This was my 7th DMB show, so now very into the live scene. We ended up having a hard time finding parking. I rearended a cabbie very very slightly and he just let me drive off. We parked on the lower level of the underground parking garage and just started tailgating down there. Lots and lots of fun! Angelic Kidjo was really sweat to hear as the opener. Very very cool sound. Overall, one of my best DMB experiences.

Great show - started out as a nightmare. Got to the show and people were sitting in our seats! Ticketmaster sent me tix to the wrong show - didn't notice until we got to our seats, blah, blah - after arguing for a while the people at Solider Field gave 17th row tix! To some it may not seem like good seats, but it was the closest I'd ever been so it was AWESOME!!!

Another great show at Soldier Field. Starts off with JTR, as it just slightly rains on the crowd...perfect. Plays a bunch of great outdoor stadium music. From All Along the Watchtower....straight into Two Step. Played alot of his new stuff at the time, but all of that is forgotten as he closes with Pantala into Rapunzel....a great time.

a night important to our history- Dave played at Buddy Guys bar that night after the concert. We were supposed to be at that bar, but our friends we went with passed out early and so we skipped out on the bar (which was right behind our hotel). Needeless to say Bruce has never lived that one down.

I have yet to hear a good recording of this show. This is in no way to offend the hard working poeple who tape the shows. It is just that the copy on the tape doesn't do the music any justice. It was a great show, but more so for the people that experienced it first hand. The highlights for me were Big Eyed Fish, JTR, Angel, Two Step, and you can't argue with Watchtower.

Simply amazing. I nearly had a heartattack when All Along the Watchtower led in to Two Step, my two favorite songs. It's was almost too much. I had horrible seats but Soldier Field was magnificent. All around a 8.5 out of 10. Rapunzel as an enccore was different, could never replace Ants Marching as my ultimate favorite encore, but it was awesome.
