FRONT ROW!! What more can I say? Had a great time with Justin & Amy rocking out right between Boyd & Dave. Too bad Paul was afraid to try to sneak down until the encore because security tossed him out faster than crap through a goose. We were so close we could hear Boyd boot heel stomp on the stage. They could have played crap all night and we would have had a great time but luckily they played a great show and like I said, it was really fun. In the parking lot after the show the fun continued with Justin & Amy trying to get Grey Poupon from all the limo drivers and us filling empty water bottles up with cooler water and trading them for smokes. Paul's quote of the night: "Monkey see, Monkey do. Fuck the fucking monkey!"

The night I became a DaveHead. I remember Warehouse opener, Proudest Monkey, Tripping Billies, Best Of What's Around, and Warehouse > Ants encore. Sat lawn with Haave, Grippo, and Serpe.

My second show ever. Quite an exciting night. Got to hear a bunch of songs live for the first time. Proudest Monkey stands out to me that night. All I can remember is that it was high energy after high energy song, and then it was brought to down a bit by PM. It just seemed like it was placed perfectly for a bit of a release. I remember it was just Dave playing the phrase over and over for the longest time... just thinking about it. A little annoying that everyone felt it was time to start conversation during this intimate moment. But, so as I've learned, such is the way of crowds at Dave concerts. A little annoyed by people that kept cutting passed me go buy some beer. I was only 20 at the time and didn't quite understand the whole beer drinking/bathroom going thing that just is part of concert life. I've probably done it tons of times by now. Oh well. There was a girl in the front row of the 2nd pavillion we were in (204) who kept standing up on the railing. It seemed as though she was directly infront of us every time she stood, completely cutting of mine and my buddies view of Dave (of course it was the precise with my luck). People around us starting throwing garbage at her so she'd at least get off the railing so we could see. I remember someone hit her with a half filled soda. My friend threw a quarter at her but hit the guy 2 rows ahead of us. If that guy is out there and ever reads this, I'd like to formarlly apologize on behalf of my friend. He didn't mean to hit you. Overall, the show was awesome and I had a great time.

Talk about a show. Look at the set list for god's sake. Great song after great song. I dont remember a bad performance. The venue he played is known for not having great sound. But the show was phenominal. I couldnt have asked for a better one.

Watchtower was better than the night before and the Warehouse tease tickled and confused the crowd before Ants... Why would he play it twice? Soldier Field???? By the way I have a copy of this show but my friend fucked up Satellite.
