First show ever. I was not a fan at that time. Went with my then-gf (now wife) because she loves DMB. Fell asleep on the lawn because I was bored and high.

I have mixed feelings on this show, and none of it is the band's fault. This should have been the best DMB show ever for me. I had 3rd row seats, the setlist was great and I enjoyed virtually every minute of it. The only problem... I was loaded on shrooms. Not that there is anything wrong that, but being just 10 feet from Boyd ripping it up on the violin should have been enough of a high for me. Unfortunately, I remember little of the show beacuse I was stupid and screwed it up for myself. I do remember Cry Freedom, though. And in my state of mind, at that point of the show, I was in pure ecstacy!

Great concert. First time seeing them, and they played my favorite song -- Cry Freedom!
