This was my first show. It was a small venue and the performances were great. I may have been biased by my excitement to finally see Dave, but that's okay. I loved it.

This show was GREAT. For several reasons. First off, it was tiny as hell. Secondly, hearing the BTCS stuff for the first time (as well as my first watchtower!) was great. Thirdly, and I think most importantly, This was the first tour they had had since 96 that didn't incorporate Bela and the Flecktones. This is significant because boyd, Roi, and company, rather than going back to the less jammy, more studio-esque versions of songs, filled in where Bela had taken the songs to new heights. Two great examples: Two Step and LIOG. This was the year Boyd started ripping out incredible solos during LIOG and I think it was to match was Bela had done the year before. So it was great to see the start of some amazing evolution of songs.

Great to see the band in a small setting again, even if it was in a sheet metal box. Great to hear the BTCS stuff for the first time.

I shook Dave and Boyd's hand after this show. It was about 100 degrees in this place. They moved it inside due to rain. Caught some first live versions of Before these crowded streets songs
