A fun show, interesting crowd, definitely near the point where dave went from fun to really popular. Went with a ton of Jersey kids from Duke who had never seen DMB. Dave and Boyd really rocked!
DMB opened this show for Widespread Panic. I was lucky enough to get there early and pick up 1 of 50 extra tickets the box office had to sell (it was a hat check ticket). The line to get a ticket to the sold out show wrapped around the entire building. It was even before DMB released "Crash", but everyone knew at that point that they were gonna be huge.
Small venue, hyped crowd - the show rocked. Hung around after and met Dave and Boyd, got a few of Carter's drumsticks! A night I'll never forget. Side note: while I don't remember the whole set, I do remember them playing Minarets.
