Pretty Good show, my first of 12 on the 2002 tour...was great to hear Pig finally after being teased at the Gorge last year...Crush was good, we saw the emergence of You Never Know and Bartender smoked! Nothing all too out of the ordinary but a good solid first night in Boston!

WWYS followed by Grey St. was a good way to open. I could have done without the third song and then he played (for the first time ever live) You Never Know. It's such an awesome feeling hearing a song for the very first time and paying such close attention to it. I loved hearing it the first time and I couldn't wait to hear it again the next night. The highlight of the night for me was definitely Pig. The band just went all out. There wasn't much jamming by the band at this show. Hearing Grace Is Gone was also a highlight. My second favorite song to (Two Step). DDTW closer???

First off, let's talk about the tickets I got for this show. The TicketMonster said "obstructed view," but being a Bostonian I knew better. When Bird and I got there...we were in the second row of the loge, a stone's throw away from the stage! Okay, Dave's profile was to us most of the time...but we were on Boyd's side of the stage.
This was one of the most mellow shows I've been to. I didn't have LillyWhite yet, so I didn't know a lot of the songs...
...and then he played YNK. The chorus stuck in my head: "don't lose the dreams inside your head/they'll only be there until you're dead." I got home that night to realize it was the first time played live EVER.
What an amazing experience.

Dave Matthews Band appeals to fans old and new with a great show with a teriffic balance of classics and new favorites. What Would You Say was a good choice, as it was fast and got the crowd pupmed very quickly. Grey Street appealled to the hard core fans that have heard the Lillywhite Sessions. The Dave Speak afterwards hinted at waht was to come- I Did It, I think this live performance was the best yet. The new song, You Never Know, gave the audience a chance to listen to a new and really unexpected song, I think it will do good as it received a good reaction. Crush is a song that has not been played often in MA; I enjoied hearing it for the first time live. Busted Stuff was another surprise, it was great. Another new song, Where Are You Going, is catchy and I feel it will do well when it is released. The only difficulty I had with this show was the choice in the closer, Don't Drink The Water. Despite it's popularity and powerful performance, I would have liked to see a better closer in it's place. Congrats Dave Matthews Band for bringing a great night of music to Boston.

this show was my 1st of 2002 and it couldn't have stated out a better way. we all got to hear Raven and Don't Burn the Pig back to back which blew me away even thought a lot of people in my section didn't know what iw as getting excited about. over all the show was solid, WWYS was a good openier to get the cround into itfollowed by Grey Street. the highlight of the show though was You Never Know being the 1st tike ever preformed like more then made up for I Did It. Crush was solid the 1st time i heard the stop time outro which kicked ass. Then came Raven and Pig. after that the show slowed down for me not too much to get excited about except for Too Much which i love anytime i hear it. Rapunzel was niche to end w/ but the encore was week like a lot were in the beginning of the yeah. Anyway the show was a good one to start he yeah off got me looking forwarnd to what was to come...

They played both Pig and Crush, which made the entire concert worthwhile. This was the first time I had heard the Lillywhite/Busted Stuff songs, and I was utterly impressed. Again, a tight-sounding show!

By far the best show I've been to or heard. The setlist was incredible. First ever YNK, great versions of Crush, Raven, and Pig, all in a row. Grey Street and Bartender were top notch.
