holy shit - this show blew my mind! we travelled from virginia beach to see both shows and we were not disappointed! only thing was it was hot as a mofo thursday...especially while hanging in the lot. got to hear the sound check, too. best show i've seen!

An AMAZING show, and the band really got into it after the first few songs. Last Stop was incredible, but the SMTS->ASTB->PNP->Rapunzel run was my favorite part of the show... if the place wasn't predominately open-aired, it woulda blown the roof off. I can't wait for tonight's show.

All i can say is wow...Crowd was great the band was completely on...after a little shaky start in the tour boyd KICKEDD ass tonight....crush and too much were his highlights....nancies into warehouse... OMG was amazing...The last stop had the most energy of any song i have seen..dave said that set was gonna end with so much to say but went into Anyone Seen the Bridge? everyone was like what else other that Too much can he go into.. PMP and Rapunzel...crowd went nuts, amazing jam of Typical old skool style. even tho i dont like stay that was the best version i ever heard....all i have to say is to all the fans who decided to talk and shuffle around during pay for what u get...thanks for ruing on of his best songs

What great energy the band had this evening. Dave was bopping and legs flailing around like the old days. Boyd was a nut. They took some of the oldies and played with the beat, mixing it up making the oldies different and fresh. Played with a lot of power. (lame description, but I'm at a loss for better words). Nancies->Warehouse was one of the highlights, just like the old days! Last Stop actually kicked romper. Actually it was one hell of a version. Jimi Thing, Dave actually had a solo, never saw that before. This has got to be one for the ages.

This was a good show. Very good song selection and the songs were played excellently. This show was the first SMTS>ASTB>PnP>Rapunzel. Typical Situation in the encore was a great surprise. It certainly wasn't the best show of the year, but it was a good show nonetheless. When I listen to the show I might skip 4 songs because I find them repeatitive: Satellite, Digging A Ditch, WAYG, and Stay. I like WTWE so I wouldn't skip that one. So, mostlikely your average Davehead would only skip 5 or 6 (Too Much being the 6th) songs out of 18. So, if you take away those songs, you're left with a really solid set.
However, you can't just take songs off the setlist and pretend they're not there. So, due to the 5 or 6 songs which I feel are overplayed or just boring I'd give this show a "B" rating for a DMB '03 show. Average, good, but average.

There was a huge difference between this show and last Saturday in Cuyahoga Falls...Dave and the band played with a ton of energy and played quite a few great jam songs. Jimi Thing was a highlight. Bartender has a riduculous amount of energy behind it. As someone else said, Too Much > Dancing Nancies > Warehouse was a thrill as well. I wasn't aware that Typical Situation was as much of a jam song, but it went for over 12 minutes. Opening with Crush was also quite cool. Overall a great show for a warm summer evening, and I can't wait for tonight.

Wicked awesome..I heard a lot of stories about Boyd being off and he didn't seem himself at Darien Lake but the first show of Star Lake showed that he is STILL the absolute coolest violin player and I loved the dancing he did all night. Especially during Dancing Nancies when he was near Carter at the drums and then like skipped/jumped or whatever over to Stefan...that was awesome as was So Much to Say and everything. They were so on that night. Only bad thing was Digging a Ditch and Where Are You Going. I don't understand why WAYG gets played so much. I have seen it at 4 out of 5 shows and the only reason I didn't see it at the 5th show is that it was the day after this(so it was the 27th), also at Star Lake. I give it a 9/10. **Dannielle**

freaking awesome show. maybe the best ever. dave doing a solo, boyd not staying over on his side, stefan winking at me, dave singing you never know to me (the part "i think i can i think i can") and 4th row seats might have helped. the boys were so into it. jimi things was awesome...too much ---> nancies ---> warehouse with the stop time intro..what more can you ask for??? bartender is unreal...dave puts so much emotion into it that he had to step off the stage for a minute or so. and dave's solo was frickin awesome. during so much to say he did a crazy little dance that was off the hizzie as well. he opened with crush, which, for the 2nd concert in a row was picked by yours truly. also, during that song he looked right at lindsey and appeared to blow a kiss. pricless. awesome night. about 90 degrees down in the pit. dave was sweating, we were sweating, but the night was unforgettable.

Too Much into Nancies into Warehouse. That was enough for me, but after So Much To Say, when they went into Anyone seen the Bridge, you just wondering where the hell they were going. Into Rapunzel was a great treat.ENCORE....I don't think anyone was upset when they came out and played Typical Situation. At the end I was pleased.

Amazing show for me, it restored my faith in the band after 2002 and Everyday. The last stop blew me away, I got chills up my spine during the outro (next last stop). I loved typical as well. It was also the first time I had heard Nancies in a long time, I think they did the nancies- into warehouse thing also, which is one of the best combos.

Overall the show was amazing. This was my 6th time seeing the boys live. They opened with a pretty average version of crush, but its crush...crush is amazing no matter how "average" it is. They next went into when the world ends which was pretty much standard, but you could tell dave and the rest of the crew were having a good time. When the world ends really set the mood. The band took the eneregy from it and put into the rest of the night. Satllite was pretty average. The band then played you never know. Carter was totally sick on the drums all night. He was flying on this number. The band then played too much and went right into dancing nancies!!! This was my frist time for nancies...What an awsome song. Then the band played warehouse with the stop time intro. Pay for what you get pretty standard. Bartender was awsome dave didn't hold anything back and belted out a couple notes and you could feel the intensity in the song. Then a standard Where are you going. Then LAST STOP. This song is sooo amazing live, Leroi played a sick solo and carter was flying on the drums through out the entire song. Jimi thing featured boyd and leroi and dave did a great jam solo in it. Digging a ditch was pretty standard. Then the band went right into Anyone seen the bridge?...which i've never heard of them doing and then right into pantala naga pampa and closed with an awsome version of rapunzel. The encore don't be mistaken...Typical situation was very impressive. You can see how much the band had grown with this number. Instead of the simple lines the song usually follows the song had sorta a samba feel. Stay was a great encore finish, but nothing too too special about it. Over all this concert was a sweet deal :)
