Great Show!! Had the best seats i have ever had for DMB!! Jimi Thing was funny as hell! I was expecting a Stay Encore and was shocked and thrilled to hear Stefan break into the Watchtower intro!! And it was amazing!!!! Great way for me to end my summer tour with DMB!

Fabulous show! Agree with the others that the energy was completely different for both nights. I loved the "Ants Marching," that was the highlight for me. Totally dug the skat and the strong jams.

Wow! Great evening! Cry Freedom, Watchtower, et al! Carter (even with his taped up hand) was on fiya! And from the 9th row :) it was fun to watch him grab (what I assume was) the IEM mic and talk to the guys between songs!!

Second night with Mariko, got kicked out the hotel so we were in the lot at like 4, cooked out and got pretty drunk in the lot, car was parked first row in the lot. Snuck in a few joints of nugs since I was in the lawn, which kinda sucked since we were 7th row the night before. Pretty good show though, NERD rocked, really liked seeing them live, it was hot!!! The boys played a pretty good show, was hype abour seeing the new songs, really liked Joyride and Crazy easy, wasn't to hype about Hello Again, but I know it will grow on me. Had to drive home after the show which sucked, but got on 2 so I had no problem getting home after the 2 1/2 hour drive........

What can I say... I was 8 rows back. It was AMAZING! They keep getting better. Watchtower was a great ending.

ANTS was simply amazing. Dave broke a string playing one of the ANTS jams, and still continue playing. Awesome stuff.

7-16-4 left me pretty upset. The brakes between songs were just way too long to stay in that emotional high Dave usually puts us through. Well 7-17-4 made up for that. The band was tighter than ever and the new songs sounded AMAZING. We probably witness the best Jimmy Thing EVER, at this show. It turned out to be one of my favorite all times. THANX...

Review:
These two nights at Hartford were horrible. They should call this tour the Typical Situation tour because every two show stop in one city is the exact same as a two show stop in another city. Granted they broke out Satellite the night before and AATW tonight, but everything else was the same. This band is not the same band it was 3-4 years ago, when each setlist was unique and you never knew what was going to be played. Even in his interview with WBCN Stefan said thew band looks at old setlists and tries not to play the same stuff. Well that is some serious bullshit because every song last night (except for the new 5 songs) have been played at the meadows in years past (including last years two horrible shows). I'm sorry but there is not one good thing to say about these shows except that there are some pretty good bars in Hartford, which we went to after leaving early during I Did It.

This place was terrible to get out of - many entrances yet one small exit for thousands of people to get out of? There must be some sort of law for that? Anyway - this place stinks - literally. The smell is awful, it was built ontop of a landfil and the smell was particularly awful tonight. I had lawn seats and it made me wonder what I was dancing on? Even Dave knew it smelled bad, he took time out to sing a little improv song about the smell, which I have on CD if you are interested and of course you can't smell ctnow.com on a CD, and by the way - that's a terrible name for an arena!!! GOOD show though! HAha.

Please tell me someone saw my "Dave Matthews for President...Rock the White House in 2004" sign?!?! Most amazing night of my life. I had 3rd row thanks to Warehouse but unforntuntly some dumbass security guard took my sign away after the band took the stage, but I swear to god Dave winked and laugh at my sign. I couldn't ask for a better set list either. Too Much was awesome and Jimi Thing was unbelievable!!!!!! Can't wait for my next show!

Dave Matthews Band rocked the foundation of the Meadows Music Centre tonight as he finishes he stay in Hartford. The audience certainly created the energy that drove the band tonight. From the So Much To Say opener followed by Rhyme and Reason, the crowd created an environment that just allowed Dave and the band to groove all night long. The crowd wooed during Warehouse and the crowd added woos to Joyride, which followed. The new songs are really receiving a warm welcome from crowds this summer. Ants Marching made sure that everyone was out of their seats and dancing. Boyd was one with his violin as he punched out his solos. The set ended with the classic duo of Pantala Naga Pampa and Rapunzel. A real highlight of the night was All Along the Watchtower. A classic choice for an encore, the song returns for the first time all tour to close tonight’s set. Tonight the words to remember is audience and energy. The combination of the two really created a night to remember as Dave closes his stand in Connecticut

Solid show. Not as good as Hershey. Still a decent setlist and a decent night. Hartford stunk this night...literally. Everyone in my section thought something died. The smell of garbage hung so heavy in the air that Dave made fun of it during the scat in Jimi Thing. Stefan came to play tonight and Dave seemed really stoked on the Fonz after Hello Again. Good night but no real surprises for me. Cry Freedom with the whole band was a first for me.

I walked away from this concert a very, very happy fan. here are the highlights...best Too Much of the tour (extended), the best Ants I've ever seen live (Dave lets the crowd sing the People verse, I've only heard him do that on RR and CP), amazing Jimi Thing with a great outro scat. All the new songs sounded GREAT. Cry Freedom was amazing. But the encore just put everything over the top. I was not expecting Watchtower at all. Everyone around me was saying that they needed to bring back Watchtower and when I heard the distorted bass intro...holy crap did that place go freakin nutz. Very solid show, DL it right now...I prefer Eric's pull over Scott's. thank you tapers!

I knew going in that this show would be tough to top after last night. In my opinion, it was a great show with lots of energy but last night was banging from beginning to end. This one had some dead points. Nonetheless, tonight's show rocked. I hadn't heard the snare intro to Ants for awhile so that was sweet. Too Much was off the hook. Can you say Best Jimi Thing ever? I thought Dave was going to keep scatting for an hour. The encore was a little weak. I loved hearing Thing, or I guess Good Good Time. Great show, the best two night run I've been to.

Second to central park, best watchtower ive heard. Was supposed to have lawn seats but, instead showed the usher our tickets from the night before and he let me and my girlfriend down to our seats from night 1. Amazingly no one showed up at the seats lol unless they thought they were ours.

Well, folks... A summer with the boys in Bonnaroo, Burgettstown, Saratoga finally ended triumphantly in Hartford. A true HELLO AGAIN was uttered by dmb in Hartford as ridiculous versions of Jimi Thing (often referring to the tossed over port o potty stank), Too Much (w/ new YEEEEAH! OUTRO) and return of watchtower as the closer made this second appearance in hartford quite memorable. The parking lot next to the interstate was the scene of quite some good times as we ROCKED OUT right before it looked as if the sky was going to fall on our night, lighting flashes rolled through as the bank took the stage. Some dude ripped us in 3 card montey but that wasn't going to ruin our night, thanks to the killer audio setup of the MEADOWS which sounded reaaally tight. Shoutouts to Shemes, Erin, and Chris as we let it all hang out in Hartford 2004

Awesome, Awesome show. Only the third time I've seen Jimi Thing in concert after 30 some odd shows. The energy was great all night. I felt bad for the people on the lawn. It was a long week at the Meadows that started with OzzFest. I would never get lawn seats here, it certainly isn't SPAC.

I was in and out of the pavillion this night. Sometimes smoking weed on the lawn, sometimes dancing on the asphalt, sometimes rocking out under the roof. The highlights of this stint were definently the song Hello Again, and the other new ones. The new album will be sick and classic. I can't even begin describe my feelings about it except in that one refrain of my favorite band saying "HELLO, HELLO AGAIN!!!!"

Cool show, not one of the best or worst I have seen. Great 1-2 punch opener with So Much To Say --> Rhyme and Reason. Incredible performances of Ants Marching and Too Much. First Watchtower of the tour was impressive, especially Boyd's solo. The new songs are all terrific, and Crazy-Easy really surprised me with its power in the first encore spot... wait until the entire crowd knows it and it has lyrics. It will probably be the next Crush...

WOW... Dave was obviously in a very, very good mood tonight and it came trhough with every single song. SMTS was a surprising opener, Warehouse certainly kicked ass, the crowd will never be louder than it is after the first few chords of Crash, Ants was perhaps the best version ever, Hello Again is easily my favorite of the new tunes, Jimi Thing. . . (if you weren't there you have no idea) and Watchtower to end one helluva weekend.

this was my last show of the tour, and i would have been absolutely on cloud nine if this set ended with ANTS, which was amazing. CRASH, HELLO AGAIN, TOO MUCH were awesome too. JIMI THING was really great, like everyone has said. I have to disagree with everyone's raving about WATCHTOWER. It was like, not that good at all. dave didn't even sing the last, best verse! ("my money take, the thief he take, my money take, the thief he take"). what the hell is that? plus boyd stood in place for his solo, leroi messed up his solo, had to adjust his reed, and butch should just not be doing a keyboard solo during watchtower without the electric guitar tone on. i know it's an awesome song, but it was probably the worst version of it i've ever heard. the lawn is really a mixed blessing. it's cool because people are usually more energetic, but it sucks because you can't see, can't hear, and have to put up with the retarded "lets go yankees/red sox" chants. it's a dave matthews band concert, just chill out, please.
