Incredible! Stunned by I'll Back You Up and Lover Lay Down - both firsts for me. Best of What's Around was an awesome opener. Gorgeous night - my first time at Riverbend. Awesome seats. Dave was pretty thirsty tonight - he had a lot of sips from a silver can. Boyd jammed during Lie in Our Graves. I can't get enough of Joy Ride. Only complaint would be WTWE - only because I've heard it so many times. Sadly, my last show this tour - going into withdrawal now. Was hoping for Crush and Stay as encores - got half my wish. The show rocked!!

A great show, not as good as the Columbus sets, but still awesome...its DMB, it cant be anything but awesome! I'm loving the new songs theyve been playing...Sugar Will is amazing. I noticed Dave changed the lyrics on just about all the new songs for this show, I guess we wont know what the final versions on the new album will be like now! What Would You Say to Anyone seen the Bridge to Too Much was the highlight of the evening, just incredible. I was on the lawn and right before the encore started, there was a girl behind me that I could hear talking on her cellphone to her boyfriend or someone, and I heard her say, "They havnt played Crash yet" and not but a fraction of a second later, the first notes of crash started and everyone around me turned around and looked at the girl behind me and she was still on her phone, tears running down her face...it was truly an amazing moment. Things like this remind you that theres something bigger happening with this music!

This show was pretty solid, good start with BOWA, Satelitte, and Jane. Overall this was a "date" show. Unfortunately I did not have one for this show. However, I must say that I called Typical Situation after the 2nd song. I just had a feeling that we would get this one, and it was great, 1st one of the tour. Good Show!

dear sweet mother of god. all i have to say is I'll Back You Up. Do u people realize how epic that is. I WILL MOTHER FREAKIN BACK U UP. not ur everyday song for the guys, but without question one of the most sincere, beautiful, absurdly well composed, amazing, and every other positive adjective ever songs dave has ever written. it is amazing to see him revive such a good song. i was in tears (and im a guy)

What a night....absolutely amazing show. Mid-set 'I'll Back You Up' was an amazing suprise! Hearing the new tunes was a great treat as well. 'Fame' at the end of 'Too Much' and the scat outro was cool to hear. All in all, great night.

Solid show, great setlist, excellent venue (despite what everyone else says). Not quite 2003-06-24 (last year same venue) but one of the best shows I have seen. This is the tightest I have seen DMB. The four new songs are coming along very nice.

It was a lot offun...I have areally funny story about how I got there since I am actually from Grosse Pointe MI, it had a lot of really good songs, though I wished they had play #41, but it was good, any dave song is good though

Great set list, boyd was a little off in a few parts, but a great show regardless. I made a big mistake sitting on the lawn instead of getting warehouse tickets. I was one of the only people around me actually trying to watch the show and not yelling and giggling with my friends. I hate 15 year old kids...

THE SHOW WAS AMAZING. FROM START TO FINISH THE SET LIST WAS EXCELLENT. I\'LL BACK YOU UP, (2 YEARS IN A ROW), AND LOVER LAY DOWN WERE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NIGHT FOR ME. SO MUCH TO SAY WAS AMAZING AT THE END WHEN DAVE ADDED ONE OF HIS FAMOUS SCATS. WHEN HE WENT NUTS I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO FALL OVER. THE CROWD WAS REALLY INTO IT, AND THE BAND PLAYED THEIR ASSES OFF. TYPICAL SITUATION WAS A DELITEFUL TREAT AS ALWAYS. A BEST OF WHATS AROUND OPENER WAS AN AMAZING START TO THE NIGHT. THE ENERGY WAS HIGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT. IT SUCKS THEY ONLY PLAYED ONE NIGHT THIS YEAR, BUT HELL ONE NIGHT IS BETTER THAN NONE. I JUST CAN\'T BELIEVE I\'LL BACK UP WAS PLAYED ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR. The Cincinnati show was a great concert. DMB played with a lot of energy and provided the fans with a great concert. I also thought the setlist was a very good one. I enjoyed hearing Hello Again and Sugar Will live for the first time. I also enjoyed that DMB played Song That Jane Likes and I'll Back You Up(old school jams). It was also pleasant to hear Crash as an encore (first time hearing it):)

Utterly one of the best shows I have been too... Riverbend is always a great setlist and performance... and since i was in pavilion this year... screw the lawn there... never again.. its horrible there... always pavilion from now on... hopefully a 2 night stand next year

Best show of my life, seat was located 5 seats down from where Andy Roddick and Roger Federer were enjoying the show since they were in town for the ATP tournament. Thankfully they didn't distract from the wonderful setlist along with the great return of Guster as the opener.

A great show overall. The highlights were the unreleased Sugar Will, Crazy-Easy, and Hello Again (since included on Stand Up). Lie in Our Graves was also particularly good. Best show I've ever seen at Riverbend, which is not the best venue.

Mellow start, almost scary. The crowd was disappointing at times. I was in the 8th row center, and people were actually sitting down during some of the slower songs!! And, some were taking/making cell phone calls. This type of crowd behavior would NOT happen in Detroit!
But the good news is, the BEST version of 'Too Much' I've ever heard. This reminded the crowd why we were there. Unreal, can't wait for the show in Detroit this fall. We'll take care of the crowd!!!

Out of the 5 shows I've seen, this was the best.. of what's around -- I absolutely love that song and to open with it- wow- definitely made the 6 hour drive worth it!!! LIOG was amazing as well. Lots off Red Rocks- lots to love :)

The Lil' Jon/Chapelle shout out at the end of Too Much was frickin hilarious! I'll Back You Up... amazing. All four new songs were progressing nicely. Love Lay Down was great. Between Lover Lay Down, Back You Up, and Crash, Dave probably got a boatload of guys laid that night. Stay was a great close, though I was a bit disappointed at Stone for the set close. Overall, the show was great!

The show was great! I was pregnant with my daughter and was first in line at ticketmaster. I was the only person who got pavillion. The guy behind me offered me $500 for my 2 tickets. I said, I'm due on 8/2 I will probably need my seat! LOL Ended up delivering on 7/15/04 that night was my first drink in over a year. One and done!!

The set list for this concert was AMAZING. I was surprised by many of the songs, and the band's energy on stage was great. The thing that most disappointed me was the attitude of the crowd. I was in the lawn and the entire time I felt like I couldn't concentrate on the show because of the amount of people walking around me. I've never seen that much movement during a show, and I had to pay almost as much attention to the poeple around me as to the music because of the high risk of beer spillage and cigarette burns (ouch!).
I also must add that I was surprised that they didn't play Good Good Time, which I was really looking forward to hearing again. Great song and great concert overall.

sugar will was crazy with words, the last half of the show I danced so much...LIOG, warehouse and joyride... the slow songs in between were good and bad, loved the break to catch my breath but slowed my rolled then to end with the stone, crash which is overplayed but I realize it's what most want to hear and finally ending it all with Stay pretty great setlist, the band just wasn't as hyped as they usually are, I think it's the venue

Simply amazing. BOWA opener could not have started off the show much better (other than Seek Up). Hit a little bit of a lull with Satellite and WTWE but after that, the shit just never stopped. STJL --> Sugar Will was nice. Then it came - my friend and I just thought he was fucking around. Low and behold, I'll Back You Up. Simply stunning. Carter, Fonz and Dave absolutly tore it up. SMTS --> ASTB --> Too Much (Golden Years, Lil Jon) was amazing. So much energy. From there, it gets even crazier. Lights out and the spotlight goes to Dave as he strums the chords to Typical motherfucking Situation. The place went nuts. People really into the tour started to realize the magnitude of this show. First IBYU, midset as well. First Typical, midset as well. What else could you ask for? Oh how about an amazing drum solo in Hello Again - incredible energy, especially following Typical. From there, they go into a great Crazy Easy. After that, the band never ceases to amaze and they bust out LIOG. The place blew up at this, especially following two new songs. Great Butch solo. Then... yet another debut. Lover Lay Down. Great touch on this song from Roi. Fade that into an amazing Warehouse with a bit of a longer Salsa jam because Dave missed the cue to the last verse. The Stone was an excellent closer - nobody saw it coming. Encore rolls around. Solid Crash - notably no Dixie Chicken. Thought that to be kind of odd. The band left the stage with the place up in arms (literally) after Stay. Great high energy closer.
Just an overall amazing show. The band has hit their stride.

As always, no words can describe DMB in concert. Highlights for me for this show were hearing Best of What's Around as the opener, I'll Back You Up, and Lover Lay Down. This was a very mello set list, but the Solo by Carter during Hello Again was fantastic and LIOG rocked. Nothing can beat hearing the Stone at the end, this is always my favorite. Very nice show!

The show wasnt bad yet not up to DMB energy standards. Very mellow show, mostly showcasing Leroi, but the music was always great as usual. I think dave noticed the crowd wasnt into it at the beginning and he went nuts during When The World Ends. After that the show picked up and was great. As always my favorite, Boyd , didn't dissapoint as he busted loose in the middle of LIOG. And Carter with the always impressive drum solo in the middle of Hello Again. Although mellow, it was nice to hear some songs that have not been played much in the past few years. Lie in our graves, Song that jane likes, and Lover Lay Down. It seems every time i think i know what to expect from a DMB show, they change it up a little and it ends up just as good. A beautiful evening for a dave show. My 3rd for the year, and sadly my last. I'll see you all next year!

I thought the show was great. I haven't been to as mayn DMB shows as some of the people on here...but it was the best on eI have been to. As stated before, Too Much was wicked good. Also, I noted that Boyd did not play very much at all...which was right ot my likings because he rarely plays in tune anymore. In fact, the one solo he had during LIOG was out of tune for the entire second half of it.
