The whole show was worth seeing a newer solo section on Two Step. Carter sped it up through the bridge and Butch solos - adding some new accents and flair - quite amazing!!

What a great show. DM specifically thanked the people of Texas for assisting the hurricanne and flooded suffering people of Louisiana. The band showed an amazing amount of energy. Great set list. What a fun show!!!

AMAZING!!!! They had so much energy the whole night Dave was on fire and carter was amazing as always. Dave did some great Scat parts in the opener One Sweet World. American Baby Intro was awesome he was literally screaming. This was by far the best Dave show I have ever seen.

First and foremost...At the end of the show I ran up towards the front and stood on the seats in the first rows. Carter looked right at me, pointed to me, and then threw me the stick that I have been waiting SOOO long for. I rememeber a few tears coming out and feeling as if I had won the lottery (Cheesy, I know...but so true). Even writting this and telling the story years later makes me get goose bumps. The show was amazing as always. I don't get people that get mad about this or that one song he did or did not play. It's kinda silly. Dave thanked us for dealing with Hurricane Katrina and I remember lots of evacuees getting to go the concert for free. Louisiana Bayou had a great sound and feel that night, and Im sure this is the reason that the track made it on the live CD for TBOWA. What an amazing night! Truly a great Dave experience, and one I will cherish forever. I GOT STICKED BY CARTER AND LOVED IT!!!!!

Show was absolutely incredible. Was not expecting so much energy from them nearing the end of the their tour and poor setlists in Arizona and New Mexico. Was surprised and loved every minute of it... except the enocre. Old Dirt Hill is NOT that great of a song and wanted Victor to come out for AATHW. That would have done it! ANYWAYS WHERE THE HELL IS THE SETLIST!!!! GIVE SELMA SOME LOVE DAMNT!

Poor LeRoi. Dude was having an off night. He was having trouble with his reeds all show and his frustration, while subtle, was undeniable. I hope he knows he's still the shit, even when his playing doesn't meet his own standards. Otherwise, this was the best show Selma has had, ever. It may not sound like much when you consider the mediocre 01 and 02 performances and the poor 04 showing. But pit this bad-boy against 2003.07.19 and you'll understand. While many may prefer to hear the songs played in Selma 03' (I'm with em), tonight's setlist had a trumpcard in it's overall flow. The set could not have been better laid out. Even the embarrasing HFTGL came at what felt like an appropriate time and was that much more enjoyable. As it stands, everything you've heard about the Stand Up songs being great live is true. Strip away the radio-demon production of the studio record and they become frenetic, engaging, loveable, ever-so-slightly-evolving, if a little repetitive. Meanwhile, when the band reprised their classics, it was done with a vengeance. I'll never forget the way Carter and Butch slid into that jam on Two Step. I don't know what they did, it sounded like a time-change, even though I know that it wasn't. In any case, Two Step never sounded so good. Okay album, fucking bad-ass tour, sums up the action onstage is an as few words as possible. One last note. Fucking Victor Wooten band killed it.

i've been to 32 shows - none sticks out more in my mind than this one for one reason - as it was happening people were still streaming into texas from New Orleans as it was only a few days after Katrina destroyed the Big Easy. All that pain and suffering was still so fresh and it had clearly impacted most everyone in the audience and especially DMB. They started off the night by thanking all us Texans for opening our homes and hearts to the hurricane victims. Then mid show, during American Baby Intro I think it hit dave - go back and listen to his screams in that song - never have i heard them more intense and more angry at the world and the Hurricane and everything ... i couldn't help but get emotional too. what a show if only for that moment.

My first show of the tour. Solid! I love the new lighting. The green lamps and firedancer effects add a lot to the show. Old Dirt Hill was one of the highlights. I love what they've done with it live. I thought that the intro to You Never Know was say Good Bye. I was dying to hear You Never Know, so nice disappointment, not a disappointment at all. Going to Dallas tomorrow night, can't wait for what's to come. I really love most of the Stand Up songs live. American Baby Intro and Dreamgirl rocked my world.

This was an awesome show! DMB really lit the place up! I'm from Seattle, and have never seen DMB anywhere but the Gorge, and was a bit skeptical that this audience wouldn't have the same type of energy. Thank God I was wrong! Dave thanked San Antonio for being supportive of the hurricaine effort, and subsequently played Louisana Bayou! That really got the place rockin'. I was also surprised to see Leroi playing without sunglasses. The man actually has eyes! (Of course they were closed) Boyd and Stefan rocked when they squared off with Dave during Two Step, and Carter really got the crowd going with his drum solos and Butch really amazed on the keyboard. The place was nuts, people dancing in the aisles, and standing up the whole time! I have never sweat so much at a DMB show before! Damn, this place is hot in August! I didn't care though because I was seeing my favorite band do what they do best!

Glad to see everyone enjoyed it! I loved it the first time i saw it....in 2004. They did move the setlist around which was kinda nice..but they moved the songs i would have liked to hear in place of the new ones. The performance was awesome but the setlist blew. Would it have killed you to play Say Goodbye or The Stone?? You did it at Woodlands!! Screw selma...he probably hates verizon. Next yr I'll be at woodlands.

This was the worst show I've ever seen from the band. But it still wasn't horrible. One problem was the acoustics, the show was entirely too loud, but the set didn't flow well, and everything seemed forced. Jimi Thing was the highlight for me.

Great show!!!, I brought the Mexican Flag, and in the song "Two steps" we starting waving the flag and everyone in the corridor started to dance with us, until the end of the song when the guard make us stop hehehe

First time to see DMB in concert. Fantastic experience, with almost every song turning into a jam session. The only drawback was that the sound mix was a little off. Regardless, it was great and my wife loved it too!
