Decent way to open up the Winter Tour. What would you say was definitely an unexpected opener. Love to hear Pig brought back into the setlists. Again too many Stand Up songs in the setlists. They have to give them a break because they have too many great songs that are absent at shows.

Great show, tremendous energy from the band, Interesting set, no real shockers, Highlights...AB Intro (which is better than AB)Bayou, And then Jimi, OSW, Granny, Trippin, etc...I thought the crowd was weak sauce, I mean lots of people sitting, no one really digging the new stuff and it kind of upsets me...People need to realize that the band works their butts off...I don't know, I would rather go to a show with just real fans then people who go there as a trend or just to hear a song written in 1993 and don't appreciate the bands creative direction...Go Hawkeyes, I'm out.

Great show to start the winter off, my 4th. The first 4 songs were a great beginning to the concert. Other highlights are, my favorite of the night, Pig. AB intro rocked, Bartender was amazing, loved Jimi Thing and Bayou w/ Rashawn, and Billies was a great way to close off an amazing night.

I went to the Summer tour in Chicago(06-02-05) and it was my first show, it was amazing. This being the winter tour opener, especially here in Minneapolis, I was pumped. The target center can be a great venue (though I tend to like most venues). However, my seats were shit, and so were the people around me. On top of that, my girl was feeling ill throughout, and when the dumbass in the last row behind us lost his innards, we decided to leave early.
BUT, the concert was awesome, as any dave show is. The setlist had a good variety, and seeing as I caught the earlier set, I caught all the songs I wanted to hear outside of Stand Up. Bartender, Granny, Pig, and One Sweet World were all amazing! It was a good show, would have been better under different circumstances.

great show as usual, i thought could've had a better ending ... two step would've been a nice touch. and encore with old dirt hill kinda figured he would play somehting low kep to lead up to a great finish which it was in billies. just wanted to hear watchtower though

Great show! This was my 24 show and this was the second most demonstrative that I have seen Dave. The first being the Dave and Friends tour in Chicago. It was awesome to see Dave walk over and point to Butch Taylor for an upcoming solo. The higlights of the show for me were What Would You Say, Jimi Thing, and Pig. Rashawn Ross was incredible and I was surprised that he played with the band for such an extended time. I would agree that the horn section needed a volume boost. All-in-all for a tour opener, what a great beginning. Can't wait to see the band at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Some surprises and some let downs. Granny, Pig being the best surprises. I was also impressed that they didn't go into warehouse from nancies...im glad to see them switch it up a bit. Smooth Rider was probably my favorite tune of the night...Dave was in a real screaming mood...some of the best vocals i've heard...jimi thing was steller, great light, bayou. The ending of the show was pretty dull. Too much, old dirt hill, and tripping billies...no two step, or watch tower...it was a great show until then. I don't know if anyone else noticed but my god turn up the horn section couldn't hear leroi and rashawn ross very well and they doing some wicked stuff

A wonderful show- except that a couple of people around us were SMOKING. Was it just me or was dave using a teleprompter? He kept pointing at something during Pig... But I loved every minute of it.

Honestly....It was not one of my tops. Dave played well and it is always fun to go to a dmb show, but the people around me SUCKED!! They only stood up when Crash came on, and it took them until the words started to realize it was Crash... Otherwise they were yelling at my friends and I to sit down... Fucking Losers!! I was a little disappointed since Alpine Sunday night went Too Much and then Old Dirt Hill... in the exact same spot.
All in all, I want to see another show SOON--and a better one at that!! For those of us who go more than one show a year this set list contained all the songs i've heard more than once.

Didn't anyone notice his little slip-ups on Tripping Billies? After the first verse when he fumbled the words "Tripping Billies," he sang the 2nd verse twice and completely skipped the third! I'm certainly not complaining- it was a solid show, our seats were good in section 129, but we were sitting by a bunch of "radio fans" as in, they pretty much only knew the popular songs and SAT DOWN for the rest of them! Very disappointing crowd around our seats.

This was my second DMB concert ever, and even though the Target Center isn't the best place for sound, the concert itself was amazing! The band had so much energy and played a great mix of songs. I can't wait for them to come back to MN!

I was told that the show had less energy than usual - there were long breaks between songs and a very long break before the finale.
I had a fantastic time and look forward to many more DMB Live experiences.

Sec 130 row 2 seat 1!!! IT was amazing on bootleg, 24 seconds before the play the song I yelled "PIG!!!!!! as loud as I possibly could, Fonzy who was on my side of the stage looked over and smiled and then they went on to play it! I LOVE YOU DMB! Jimi Thing was Amaizng and A HUGE Blackbird Tease on SAWG I was hoping butch would do it for me! Oh well Alpine, OH, and AZ for DMB HERE I COME! 2006 Sumemr Tour Better than Ever!

Well it seemed as if Dave had him self a Bourbon and a glass of water before the show. Love it! Good opener as What Would, then a fan favorite Granny. Good vocals throughout and strong encore with Billies.

About what I expected, not stellar, not horrible. The performances were solid. I just have alot of trouble getting into the recent setlists. They lean too heavily on recent material which, in my opinion, just isn't that good.

Awesome. Not the best show I've seen (my 8th actually), but they did an incredible job in every song---you could really feel the energey they were putting into their music. It really made me appreciate the Stand Up songs more. "Louisiana Bayou" was the best of the night.

Not a bad show at all. Highlights for me were Pig, Jimi Thing, and Bayou. Dave messed up the lyrics on a few (Nancies, Billies, probably others), but thats nothing new. Nice to see the light show is similar to the summer setup (minus the backdrop obviously). Boyd sounded a LOT better to me than he has in recordings of previous tour openers, so he should really be on fire by the end of this mini tour.

This was my third show. First time for an indoor, but it was OK. PIG and AB Intro were among my favorites. Due to a misunderstanding we lost our floor seats and had to sit in the upper deck. The crowd was really into it, even with crappy seats. However the most negative part of the night were some of the kids that sat around us. Too many frat-todds spilling beer on us. Or smoking weed, which lead to security constantly barging through our isle to escort people out.
All-in-all, I would say $60 was worth it. Considering Dave hasn't been here in over two years. Having Butch and Rashawn were a definite plus. See ya'll soon.

Finally I don't have to road trip or get on a plane to see them. One of the best shows I have seen at the Target Center. This was the first show that I saw Rashan Ross play with the band and he blew me away. Literally! My seats were actually on the floor (floor 1) but Warehouse gave me section 106. I upgraded prior to the show and gave my warehouse tickets to a couple friends.

Great show to start off with. I agree, the horns could barely be heard. Butch's scat solo on Jimi was amazing, when they finally turned his mic up. Dave was absolutely going nuts in AB intro and Smooth Rider. Too bad about Tripping Billies and the repeated verse. Otherwise amazing.

Tnought the show was great. Enjoyed the setlist as it kept me and everyone around me moving. Had some great fans surrounding us. Really enjoyed Bayou this time around and as most people are saying, Pig was great to hear. Kind of weird seeing DMB in the Twin Cities again, but it was nice to be able to go home after the show.

Great Second show! I loved Granny, Dancing Nancies and PIG!!! I could go with less stand up songs and a longer encore but it was still great. Another let down was that I heard many of the same songs from alpine (most stand up) but That doesn't mean I didn't love it! The Beginning was awsome but a lot of steam was lost through the middle. As the first show of the Winter Tour I was expecting a lot of energy and DMB sure showed a lot of it. Dave got really into a whole lot of songs with heavy singing and yelling. The band seemed to really be enjoying themselves and the crowd reflected their energy (atleast in most sections). However, it seemed like an overall practice show and Dave continueously slurred his words. It was a fun show overall. The setlist was on the very unexploratory side. I just would have really liked to have heard something that I hadnt heard during my two shows through the Summer Tour.
