This was my first DMB show ever and I thought it was AMAZING! He basically played every song I wanted him to, save for Ants. He even broke out Grey Street, one of my favorites. I hadn't really been listening to the new songs, but I thought Break Free was really good and well developed and Rashawn made it even better. I still don't like the Stand Up songs (except for Bayou which I love!) and I thought Hunger was mediocre as most of that album is. I got really excited for Stay which I didn't see coming at all and sounded terrific. When I heard ABI I was kind of worried and didn't really know where he was going with it, but when I heard the intro to Two Step begin I knew it was going to be great. Carter rocked the crap out of those drums and it sounded like he was never going to let the song end.
I have been to many great concerts like U2 and Bruce Springsteen AND the E Street Band, and I have to say DMB was one of the best, almost better than U2. His was definitely the best sound wise. I can't wait to see him in C-ville 9/23 (even though my Warehouse seats suck). I'll be waiting to hear Last Stop, Dave...

Wow....what a great show...after being in charlotte the night before i didnt think it would be possible to compete with it..but they proved me wrong and came out firing again with yet another great set..Bigeyedfish into Bartender was amzing..and Two Step rocked!! Just wanna say to yall RALEIGH FANS! YALL ROCK...will deffiantely return from bama next yr

OMG! Bartender, Baby Intro into Two Step - unbelieveable! Carter in a CANES jersey. THE MAN! Boyd rocked the house and Dave sings to 'Jane'. Another classic DMB performance. Thanks for coming aboard Rashawn! Gonna have to hook up with the 06 tour again!

I'm gonna be honest this show did not live up to the legacy of the last two DMB shows that were here at Alltel. The ones from years past were much more exciting and driven with better setlists. I do however like that he played Stay, a song not heard so much at his North Carolina concerts. All in all, it was so so.

The band was AWESOME! This was my first show and it was great except for . . . . the drunken morons that were sitting around me. When Dave came out to sing "Sister" he stated with a heart warming story--or at least it started that way--as before he could finish the drunks starting shouting "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR F*CKING SISTER!" Needless to say I was a bit curious about the fan base . . . . I thought that once the song sarted things would mellow out but then came the F-Bomb again, this time with a request for Two Step.
I wonder what would have happened if the band hadn't finished with Two Step?
Anyhow, drunken State fans aside, all was well. What I did hear sounded pretty good and all in all a great intro to an awesome band.

Another great show. Great compliment to last night's show. Big Eyed Fish into Bartender was classic, thanks for another Nancies, Stay was awesome to hear after not hearing it for a while. Sister was right on and when Dave introduced it, it was the most talking I'd ever heard him do at a show. AB Intro was one of the one songs I wanted to hear this year, and they delivered in grand style. Two Step closer was jamming. Everyone one of the boys was on fire tonight.

Amazing show, one of the best concerts I've ever witnessed. Wish a different opener would have been chosen but One Sweet World kicked in and was a unusually good. Another highlight was Joy Ride being played and also Big Eyed Fish with a really good Bartender following it. Sister got drowned out by the crowd but was cool hearing. ABI was unbelievable and Dave screamed every note right on tone and was incredible. Two step was by far the highlight of the night with a long long intro and outro wish made it crazy. Good crowd, good setlist, overall awsome show.

Started out great, but got a little slow after Nancies, except for Stay. New songs didn't excite the lawn crowd too much. Two step was great and really long, but i know lots of folks would have cut 10 mins from it to hear Crash/Ants/#41 somewhere in the set.

Not sure how they do it but they get better every year. American Baby Intro --> Two Step was kick ass. Best Anyone Seen the Bridge I've ever heard. First Nancies I'd seen live - finally. Just a great setlist and awesome energy from everybody, especially Boyd and Carter.

Musically, one of the best shows I've seen. Great set mix and the jams were incredible - more jazzy than usual. Solos by Butch rocked and the addition of Rashawn was superb. Carter was great and Boyd was in rare form all over the stage. . . didn't want it to end.

It was my first DMB concert. My girlfriend, Kelly and I had been planning on going to it for months, had the tickets since they came out in March. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Albeit, I didnt recognize a good amount of the songs, considering i hadn't been seriously listening to Dave for too long, but what I heard, and recognized, I loved. Hunger for the Great Light was very very good, and the 45 min encore, just WOW, more than i ever imagined. very impressed, cant wait to get the chance to go again!

Another night of greatness right before my eyes. I was really feelin ALO also. Definitely want to dabble into their repitour. Joyride for the 2nd night in a row was the best. Especially since they teased it here last year. That's what the deal is.

What a week. 6/19 the canes won the cup. 6/20 was my b-day, and then 6/21 the only thing I wanted was a "Two Step" and man did I ever get it. Not only did I get it but I got it as an encore. Definitly one of the better shows I've seen in a while. Great energy, great set list, great crowd. (except for the fight on the lawn during the encore..f#@$ing drunk kids) overall a great time was had by all.

Wow. This was definitely the best DMB show out of the 6 I've been to. Cool venue with a TON of people there. Only a few slow songs kept the show down at the beginning, but overall it was an amazing night. Absolutely incredible setlist. Highlights included BEF, ASTB?, DN>DIDO, BF, and the entire encore. Dave's song Sister was great to hear. ABI was insane: I have never seen the Dave scream so hard or get so emotionally into a song, so that was cool. Then, the fade into Two Step was sweet. A nice long Two Step ended with multiple breakdowns by Carter and Stefan which were interesting to hear. Overall the band played an awesome setlist, pleased the crowd (Carter's Hurricanes jersey and Dave talking about the Stanley Cup), and left me happy until I can see them again (Aug. in Atlanta). Great way to end the road trip boys...Thanks!

The show was great. Once I heard the beginning of Joy Ride, I was on cloud effin nine. I probably sang throughout the entire show, which to my surprise did not seem to piss of the nice lady next to me. Only downside was Break Free. Really not a huge fan of that one.
