I obviously had my hopes set high for my first Dave Matthews Band Concert, and it was way above anything I could have hoped for!! I'm betting it won't be long before they come back to Portugal. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well, a video goes for 24000/second, and this one pretty much explains why the concert was over 3 hours long:

My 1st DMB concert, already seen DM&TR in Paris, but this was one of the best gigs that this guys had.
The Portuguese Crowd is one of the best in the world, and this was one great performance of the band.
Everyday very good :) the vibe of the audience caught the band by surprise, and let Dave Speachless.
Then Dreamgirl, Crash very good! Hunger good Vibe, Bayou is fantastic live, When the World Ends not bad, GREYSTREET :) wonderfull, from here the show was fantastic.... Idea, So much, ASTB and Too Much powerfull, then came Sister, then LIOG, #41, American Baby intro and Two step were the BOMB man, almost 45 minuts for these 4 :P songs!
Then Ants.... Encore: Graveddiger, Jimi and Stay.....
But the crowd made so much noize that the boys came back and performed DDTW and PNP--> Rapunzel!
And so it ended, 3 hours after the 1st song, i was without words and voice :P
Fantastic thanks to the band and the fans that made a F***Nell Concert!

Amazing: just over 3 hours, double encore, band going nuts about the audience, audience going nuts about the band. Way better than the 3 shows I saw in Mountain View last year. Should've played a good song instead of Dreamgirl, though...

Best concert ever. Great audience, great atmosphere, great show!! It was my first DMB live concert and I was waiting for years for this to happen - it did on May 25! They band was so interactive with the public that it still seems like a dream! Thank you DMB and all DMB fans that were in the show!

Amazing. I've been waiting A LOT for DMB to be at reach for me (i'm italian), but it was worth every minute.
The band was absolutely great, and the lisbon public was terrific! the band was surprised - almost scared :) - by our partecipation.. We were "the loudest crowd", and proud of it!

This was my first DMB show, and my standards are now super, super high. The Portuguese crowd was great, and the venue was good too. I guess because I managed to get to about 4-5th row in the pit, right in the middle! It was incredible. Tom Morello opened and also played on 3 tracks with DMB, including #41, my favourite. It was 20 minutes long, and at least 3 other tracks were just as long!
I couldn't believe they had a double encore, playing a total of 5 more tracks (6 if you include Pantala Naga Pampa), closing with Rapunzel! It was about 3 hours, totally worth every penny and every second, the best 3 hours I have spent in a while.

Last nigh was the first concert of DMB I've ever seen.
What a great show! I think DMB had no ideia how much popular they are in Portugal. Over 3 hours of fabulous music and enthusiam.
One of the best shows I've ever seen. A night to remember.

What an amazing show!!!
This was my first DMB concert. I flew all the way from Norway to Portugal to attend this concert! (Once they finally came to Europe!)
3 times back on stage after "ending".
Over 3 hours duration!!! AMAZING!
Though I have never been to a DMB concert before, something tells me it was a pretty special one!

It was my first Dave Matthews Band concert and I don't have words to express myself. It was just beatiful to see them real near me. for 3 hours and 15minuts I jumped, I screamed and I sang with more than 17000 people that waited 16 years to see them. At the end everybody was happy, with a big smile in his faces and waiting for them to come back. DMB had promised that they would come and we won't have to wait another 16 years. We're waiting for you, DMB!!!

Fantastic show. I've heard hundreds of DMB shows all over america and australia, but I saw in Lisbon one of the greatest. DMB as so many good fans back in america but in Portugal they have the greater crowd in the world. Shows with 2 encores I haven't heard so many. For is first presentation in Portugal they were received like that, the next time we will need a big stadium.

This was an outstanding performance by DMB. The Show and the Crowd were amazing!!!! One of the best shows ever (200 minutes). The 41 and american baby intro, with Tom Morello were simply perfect. Lie in Our Graves was amazing, with solos by every menbers of the band. Unforgettable

Yeah, so, you can buy as many beers at a time as you like...they even have these great, 5 beer carriers. That was a very good sign for the night. The rest was up to the band and the fans. Show cranked, chilled, cranked again, then...just kept going. Football chants, wild shit with your hands, like a U.S. show on 'roids. Blown away.
P.S. I love that the European fans were so appreciative, generous and loving. I do apologize if I sang too loud but seriously...thanks everyone.

It was my dream for several years to see a DMB concert. After all the dvds i´ve seen and albuns that i eard i tought i couldn't be realy surprised but belive me.. It was just amazing, absolutly perfect... everything i could wish for. Thank you very much for fullfilling my biggest dream .
