I got stuck in traffic and missed the first song and a half, so I'm a little biased, but it was a good show. The best part was during the transition from So Much to Say to Too Much. Dave wasn't playing anything, but he stayed perfectly still and kept looking around an cocking his eyes all over the place and then jumped into a sweet closing of So Much to Say before switching over to Too Much. And he rocked out with Grey Street and Ants Marching, also sweet.

Good Concert.. I did have to sit around a few fans that didn't know the new stuff and they all got mad and sat down because he didn't play stuff like "Stand Up." Oh well, I thought it was GREAT! Jimi Thing was awesome. And Warehouse rocked. The National Anthem (Ants Marching) for an encore was phenomenal.

The set list was so so at times, and a lot of newer songs were played... but the point was the band played the shit out of them. Having seen the majority of these songs live 5-6 times this show was pretty standard as far as the set lists go (for the most part), but the band simply played the shit out of this set. Out of the 10 shows I have been to this show easily ranks among the top 3. For those of you who ranked this show poorly I say that you are entitled to your opinion, but I must say with that being said your opinion is on crack. Come on... we got typical, warehouse w/passion intro=>stop time intro, ynk for the first time in 2 years, the stone, and a incredibly sick version of smts=>astb=>TM which I liked despite having seen this trio for what it seems 6 or 7 times out of my 10 shows. Wake up folks... there is a time to bitch and a time to be thankful for what you got. Hint: this is not a time to bitch.

The best show I have seen in Raleigh. Loved the Bayou opening. First time hearing Corn Bread, #27, and Dream So Real live. I was in a Warehouse mood all week, so that hit the spot. YKN, Typical tease, and Stone in one night was a nice treat. Well done Jimi Thing with a little Jungle Boogie, Eh Hee and The Idea of You. Though I have seen SMTS->ASTB->TM a ton, I really enjoyed it this one. I was certain that Bridge was coming after SMTS and then Dave stoped. But the got me with the goofy pauses and the faces leading into Bridge. I was lauging pretty hard.

Well done show, really enjoyed myself, as did the Dave first timers with me.

I've been to eight shows, and this was the best of 'em all. Loved Bayou as the opener and Warehouse made for a great 1-2 punch. I was ecstatic when I heard Carter's rim-tapping intro to You Never Know, which hadn't been played in over two years! And even The Stone snuck in! The crowd's energy peaked during SMTS-ASTB-Too Much, and the encore of Grey Street and Ants Marching kept that energy flowing. Haven't been to a better show!

this show disappointed me, ive been to 5 now, the worst by far, ive never came out disappointed like i did last night, i like some of the new songs, but didnt like how they put them in the set. it felt like the crowd would die when they played something that was new,, i knew the songs, but honestly couldnt enjoy them like i thought i would. the setlist from the raleigh show from last year was very similiar, and i think people were waiting to hear something different this year, and it just didnt happen. the typical situation tease to me just made me mad. that is one of my all time favorites, and i felt like i got somewhat cheated on the whole song. i love Dmb and always will, but last night they werent themselves

Awesome set list...maybe one of my all time favorites for Raleigh. Energy level was high. Loved hearing You Never Know (first time live for me) and first time this tour apparently. Tight, Tight, Tight!! I loved Dave's comment between songs about the first night he and his wife ever "spent together" (knocking boots maybe?) was in Raleigh. Go Dave for letting us in on that personal tidbit.

This was my 4th show on this tour. It was not as good as the VA Tech show, but much better than other 2 I attended. I was worried when I saw Dave come out the electric guitar, but Bayou was a great opener. Warehouse super 2nd song good energy. Love Typical Jam--F*ckin Sweet! Good Encore, not great--enjoyed having 2 upbeat songs. 35 show done, Charlotte is the great #36--hopefully I will hear it too.

For folks that sit in lawn in Raleigh, this is social hour, not Dave fans. It's like this every year, I'm told Charlotte folks come for the music. I really was disappointed in this years show. We sat near the sidewalk and every new song was a bathroom break for most folks. A few favorites would have pumped up the crowd big time, they did go out on a tear though. I did like the Dream so Real song, lot of energy.

Good show - parking was a beast and missed bayou and most of warehouse because they closed the main lot and we had to park in the middle of nowhere, intro into typical was totally random and cool, dave's voice held up pretty well and even my dave first timer sister had a good time listening to the boys

I love that Dave is adding a D&T into to Warehouse. Did anyone hear Dave say "I'll kick you in the shin" durring the transition into the course of The Idea of You? It was a great recovery to what was a messed up (lyriclly)first half of the song. It seemed that Dave forgot the words to the song and he then had to substitute some lyrics and those words just happend to be "I'll kick you in the shin" instead of "I'm not going to pull your hair". It was awesome!

Next up Charlotte, tonight.

This was my first show this year. I thought it was wonderful. Some phenomenal songs, awesome fun. Dave was playful and danced like a crazy man during So Much To Say. Grey Street and Antsmarching made an AWESOME encore!!! I loved the Bayou opener. The lady in the VIP boxes we dubbed "tie die lady" was an awesome side show. Traffic was crappy getting out though. LOVED IT LOVE IT LOVED IT!!!

This is my second Dave concert. I went to the show in Charlotte last year, and it was truly amazing.

However, last night was really disappointing in comparison. The band was awesome, although my friend and I did feel they were missing something on a few songs. Just Dave and/or Carter dragging a bit sometimes. The real problem, though was the crowd. Honestly the worst crowd I have ever seen at a concert.

I was in the lawn, and I think about 95% of the people around me were talking to one another through the whole thing! They'd get into it on the one or two songs they knew, and the rest of the time was spent talking. It was so frustrating. Then hardly anyone even cheered for an encore! If I had been Dave, I wouldn't have come back out. It was that pathetic. I felt bad for them actually. I mean, the bass player (don't know his name) walks across the stage at the end and raises his bass over his head... and no one even cheers or claps! It was like a freaking cliche! I wish I hadn't been so far back, because the whole time I was just wishing they'd know that at least someone there appreciated all of the music.

As far as the setlist goes, I really liked it. A bit unconventional compared to the only other Dave show I went to, where he played mainly old standbys from Crash and Under the Table and Dreaming. I loved hearing Cornbread and Ee-hee though, after hearing them on the new Radio City record. Ugh, I just can't get over how horrible the crowd was in the midst of such an awesome show :(

Usually go to 3+ a year, this is my only show this year unless there is a winter tour.

We got to the lot around 6:00 ish and immediately met some cool mofo's. If Brad is on here, Happy belated Bday. It was cool meeting you.
Anyway, my wife works in Hotel sales and hooks this woman up with great rates, so she offers that her husband is the Director of Security at Walnut creek. So The plan was, call him when we were ready to go in, and hell take us to the VIP lounge, take us to the meet and greet if they have one.

So i call at 600 and call him. Sure enough they WERE gonna have a meet and greet, HOWEVER John Edwards was there and they cancelled everything backstage for security reasons. What an ass...

Anyway, we got in and were in line for a beer when I realized Bayou was playing at 8:10, i was like DAMN!

Louisiana Bayou: Missed half of it, sounded good. Ive seen this alot, and I liked it opening, knew we wouldnt have it as a closer or encore.

Warehouse: Passion and stop time Very cool. They should always play it like this.

Cornbread: LOVE this song. SUch a groovy song, I was hoping after listening to all the versions that I could hear it in person.

#27: Another great new song. Had fun.

YMDT: My favorite Stand Up song

You Never Know: I was hoping for it since I heard it was soundchecked. YAY! I was getting really into the show at this point.

Everyday: Not a complaint, but I think every show I go to I get Everyday and..
Stay: yup stay, I think i am at 80% for everyday and stay. I actually like stay mid set. Got the energy back up.

A Dream So Real: My least favorite of the new songs. Just cant get into it, and I have never had this problem with ANY other DMB song.

Jam/Typical Situation: My jaw was wide open, my wife turned to me to ask what it was and saw me mesmorized, she must have realised that i was in awe and decided to just let me watch.

Dreamgirl: My wife loves this song, Im glad they played it "for her"

The Idea of You: Very cool, great version. I like it better than last year's

Jimi Thing: Shorter, thank god. Butchs scat was cool.

Eh Hee: LOVE THIS SONG FULL BAND!

The Stone: 3 debuts? WOW

So Much to Say: sounded tight love the changes.

ASTB>Too Much: SO F"N fun. I was so pumped at this. Usually on paper I dont enjoy this segue. WOW fun fun fun

Grey Street: Cool encore opener

Ants Marching: Crowd favorite and you can tell why.

Id say this is one of my top 5 shows out of 57. yes 57

Some heavyweights in this setlist. The stone was excellent. Warehouse, great. YNK - perfect. Loved Jimi thing as well. The only reason I went to this show was so I didn't miss DT in NC. He didn't play it which left me wanting more. Mid show seemed like it was lacking something. Can't complain about a DMB show though.

Really great concert, 2nd DMB show for me, had a real grab bag of songs. "Cornbread" would have to be my favorite, first of the newer songs I've heard that's really gotten me goin'. A few things kept me from giving it a 5-star, most of which DMB could not help. Mainly it was really cold for Sept. in NC, security couldn't keep drinkers and smokers out of the family section, and "A Dream So Real" was a definite mood killer. Also, I know the original lyrics for "The Idea of You" were controversial, but the new lyrics feel forced and are just plain lame. It doesn't feel like Dave & Co. are having fun with it anymore. I think he just needs to go back to the drawing board on that one. Overall though, an awesome concert for sure.

This was my second show and we had a blast. Not as good as my first DMB show (I had second row seats for that one), but fun nonetheless. I enjoyed hearing the new songs, but I agree with others here that the crowd seemed a bit impatient with them. Highlight of the show for me was Jimi Thing - it's one of my favorite DMB songs, and the folks around me were really pumped for it.
