Slightly dissapointed, dont get me wrong, even a "poor" DMB show is more amazing than anything else in the world, but I definelty have been to better shows. The sound needed to be turned WAY up, the energy just wasn't there, although I have to say I have never rocked out so hard at any show compared to how I did during the amazing You Might Die Trying. I was very grateful for the return of Proudest Monkey, and happily surprised by Two Step, but the vibes were off....maybe because it was Friday the 13th?

Second night outran this night about 4127403634 times. Legit.

Rarely do i say the first night of a two show set was the better show, but i feel it was this year. maybe because i got to be back in the pavillion for the first time in a few years but i feel it just had more energy throughout than n2. I still love DDTW. when dave lets out that yell and the camera zooms in on his face it's one of my favorite moments of any show. the end of so damn lucky with boyd helping with the "round...round" was great. Corn Bread is becoming one of my favorite songs. the times when dave just starts going off and just carter and maybe tim are playing is amazing. as much as love OOMH, and i do, it can be a set killer. Obviously you could tell Butch wasnt there the whole night, but i never missed him more than during the culmination of an amazing Two Step where he usually plays with Carter's snare beat at the end, or just does that one-note-at-a-time high note to low note right as the jam is winding down. I think it was Crush where Tim and Roi went back and forth, and Roi had one really drawn out high note where when he was done the camera stayed on him for a second and you could see him making a face like "man i gotta catch my breath" but then five seconds later took a toss from Tim and was flawless. The way they started ants was great, and doing the 1, 1-2, 1-2-3, end twice instead of once was awesome. The energy for the Hey Hey and Bayou was amazing, you could see dave giving it all at the end of the set

Don't Drink The Water was a solid opener
So Damn Lucky was quaint
Cornbread was OFF THE HOOK! Timmy is a ninja! That song better be on the record with Timmy soloing!
Old Dirt Hill was relaxing
Everyday was great!
Rhyme and Reason was sick
Proudest Monkey was boring IMO
Satellite was classic. almost Red Rocks 90s good.
You Might Die Trying was absolutely amazing! It's still stuck in my head. The last horn part just won't go away!
Out of My Hands was boring but great to see Dave play the keys for the first time live other than Dave & Tim Radio City
Two Step was the BEST i've ever heard it! followed by..
Dreaming Tree! Rare and luscious baby! It was amazing!
The Idea of You was solid
Crush DID NOT DISAPPOINT... so sexy and Timmy and LeRoi dueling solos was amazazing!
Ants Marching with the new double intro was awesome! A classic with fresh life!
Sister was pretty
Hey Hey My My (take the covers out to the back to die) a cover once in a while is a great staple of dmb (maker, watchtower etc.) but I am def not liking this trend of at least one cover every show (especially in the encore!)
The little improv was funny. you felt like you had snuck in on some band practice shenanigans.
Louisana Bayou was a great closer! It rocked. However it was a short version and you could see Timmy ready to whip out the axe and blaze away but Boyd was too lost to notice! =) It would have been the perfect bayou if he had gotten a solo.

All in all an amazing show. Just minutes shy of 3 hrs including the 9 min encore break and yet only 18 songs!

Loved it. So much. Too much? No, didn't hear that one...few of my favorites...
Don't Drink the Water
FANTASTIC. THAT'S ALL.
So Damn Lucky
unexpected, still great
Everyday
this was just great. loved the reaction of the general people on the lawn.
Proudest Monkey -> Satellite
during these two songs, I nearly cried. don't know why, but they were just incredible
You Might Die Trying
Oh god. this was pretty damn awesome. loved singing to it.
Out Of My Hands
"We're gonna try something foolish." loved Dave's piano playing.
Two Step
Great solos. Very well placed, seeing as I had just sat down for a minute. :P
The Dreaming Tree
Before this show, I was just praying that this song would get played. I love that Lessard sings along during it.
Crush
One of the best versions I've ever heard. all of the jams in it made me so happy.
Ants Marching
the intro for ants was out of the ordinary and the way they led into it was much better than normal. hard to describe...
Hey Hey My My
liked hearing this cover, but dave seemed to be impersonating young too much...still good though
Louisiana Bayou
BOYD. ALL OVER THE PLACE. this song made me very happy, although I was hoping for a Halloween (Friday the 13th)
NOTE: don't know what others thought, but I found Tim Reynold's electric guitar a bit overpowering. I like his acoustic playing more.
Hoping to attend more!!!

We had a horrible time at this show. We could hardly see from the angle. We were too far away when we did get to move. The lawn was a joke. Frat-boy-types everywhere. Everyone was obnoxious and we couldnt wait to leave. Getting in was worse. We waited on three huge lines before they let us in. We didnt even get in regularly, we went in through the VIP entrance because a secutiry guy realized we had been through shit to get nowhere. Later gound out that this venue is known for all of this. Really bad first DMB show. I swore off going to DMB shows until someone bought me tickets to Bethel two years later.

This was my sixth concert and I was def not let down. Dont Drink the Water to open was out of sight. Its kinda hard to pick the single best song of the night, Ants, Two Step, Bayou, Dreaming Tree, the list goes on. One thing I can say is that Timmy and Carter were on fire all night long. Cant wait until my next one.

We had seats in sec 100 originally until Jon coaxed me to sneak up to the front row on the rail for the 4-song oncore saying "C'mon, live a little!". The bouncers almost stopped me but let me go after Jon begged them to let me stay because he was "trying to get laid". Dave played 'Sister' so heartfelt and it was like the world stood still for me. Boyd even came up to the edge of the stage and rocked out on the 'Bayou' solo right to me (since I was going ballistic)! BEST DMB EXPERIENCE EVA!

This show had it's good and bad. First, what I didn't love: not too big a fan of Out of My Hands breaking up the momentum half way through, or another Louisiana Bayou close, but you get what you get, right? You still have to be glad to go in the first place. But when this show was good, it was great: I'm always into a full band So Damn Lucky, but this one was GREAT. In fact, both SDLs that weekend, N1 and N2, were ON. Rhyme and Reason followed by Proudest Monkey > Satellite was a nice one-two punch. Last run of songs to end the main set was fantastic: Two Step, Dreaming Tree, Idea of You, Crush, and Ants Marching is a pretty great string. Overall a pretty good show.

What a great show! The crowd had tons of energy tonight. The intro to Ants Marching was RIDICULOUS! The Neil Young cover Hey Hey My My was unexpected, but fun. Great show - Dave looked and sounded GREAT. I wasn't cracked up with the absence of Butch Taylor and replacement of Tim Reynolds. Song selection was great, and the twists on a few songs - especially Ants Marching kept it fresh. The weather was amazing - a cool breeze blowing in the night as Dave and the band played amazing stuff.

Got upgraded by Warehouse from literally the LAST ROW section 800 to the FRONT ROW section 100!!!! AMAZING SHOW! (although I may be biest because this is the first and probably only time I will ever be front row for DMB) Thought all the songs were great and many of them were the best versions I've heard of the songs. Tim definitely added something special to the shows.

Two Step --> Dreaming Tree was deadly! Actually, the five song run to close the main set was amazing. Couple of slower songs we hadn't heard in a while were played last night. Old Dirt Hill actually wasn't bad: the Carter Drum Machine was much more subdued. First time I've ever been blessed to sit up close, and the boys didn't disappoint!
