Very very strong set with a good mix of newer tunes and old ones. Jeff was phenomenal throughout and this is by far the most Dave spoke to the crowd during a Raleigh performance. Obviously the first ever version of Watchtower with a tidbit of Stairway To Heaven shocked everybody and was unbelievable

This concert blew me away. Way better than the last one in Raleigh. Show highlights for me - Bartender, 27#, SDL, Grey Street, Dancing Nancies into Watchtower ,and Along the Watchtower. Dave had so much energy. He danced like 2 times, scatted, and spoke in a different language in the beginning of Nancies.

Sick sick show. Watchtower (stairway) closer, unreal. My 15th and maybe the best show I have seen.

by far one of the best DMB performances...amazing way to end a show with All Along the Watchtower mixed with a small tablespoon of Stairway to Heaven. Seems like the new songs were well rec'd too. I agree, the Jeff/Carter duet in #41 was very good...glad dave was interested in everyone having "consensual relations" he's always looking out!

UNBELIEVABLE! so many amazing songs, I couldn't hold my excitement in. And the encore? best rendition of watchtower I've ever heard. The one song encore is tied as my favorite with the AMI/Watchtower encore I saw in Charlotte

Musically nasty, Coffin on #41 with Carter was crazy, Two Step new ending with Carter was awesome, Nancies into warehouse was great, new songs especially Why I am play very nicely, last three years I have been to Raleigh, the band always brings it but the crowd always sux, my section, section 9 last night was the quietest section I have ever been a t at any concert. The two northface uggsluts in front of us were on their blackberrys and facebook the entire time and the people next to us were dressed up for a night on the town but didnt smile or clap once. There was one girl dancing and clapping everyone else was either cold or extremely stuck up but this is the thrid year it was like that so I am beginning to think that people in Raleigh just dont know how to have a good good time. Where are all the fun people at in Raleigh, hopefully you do better next year you slackers. Charlotte throws down every year and SPAC are the shows I started at so maybe I am spoiled but everywhere I have been people throw down except for raleigh. WhatS up with that????????The band was awesome last night gets better every time

First off this is my 3rd show that I have attended at this venue and I would have to say that the crowd for some always lacks alot of energy compared to most of the venues that I have been to. Highlights of the show were: astb-> too much (tease)-> ants (I would think this was planned for sometime later in the set but because that crowd was so lack-luster they moved it to play something everyone would know. Nancies->Warehouse: Always spectacular, 1st warehouse played this year, was not played too much last year either. #41: was changed up since the last time I had heard it with the Sojurn interpolation in the middle. Jeff and Carter were amazing. Two Step: Was great not sure that I have ever heard that song played the same way twice. Altw: Had not heard it quite awhile was great with strairway interpolation. The new songs were really tight. Really not a dull moment in the entire show. TW

Not a bad show. plenty of good favorites. Not a sellout, seemed about same # people as last year. COLD once sun went down, and I thought the monsoon show we had a few years ago was bad weather. New songs never go over big at the creek. Tired of watchtower endings.

A very good set with a lot of classics. Aside from the few new songs, Cornbread, 27, and YMDT, i felt like it was a show from the late 90's. I also enjoyed how Dave played some of the old songs the way he used to (I always got disappointed when he didn't growl "Look up to the sky" on nancies). Not to mention the encore with a peek at Blue Water, only that the rumor was we wouldve got the full had the damn Avid Brothers not played for so long. Also adding Stairway to Heaven lyrical interpolation into All Along the Watchtower was genius...All around a good show and easily the best i have heard in a while.

Pretty good show last night! The new songs were excellent and Tim Reynolds absolutely rocked the house with some of his jams!! The band played with a great energy most of the evening and the new songs were very tight also.

Amazing! They were a little rough around the edges on one of the new songs, but I still loved it! Dave and Carter were joking with each other the entire time, and Dave dancing was uplifting.

Just absurd....there is no way to say any different....I like to wait until after both the Charlotte and Raleigh shows to comment but I knew this one was special either way. Dave was so into it, the only problem with Raleigh is the crowd never settles in early enough and the freaking curfew. You could tell that Dave and Carter discussed songs and time on multiple instances (including before 41). If you look at Raleigh setlists they are always 3-4 songs light....always.

The show was terrific and the band loved every minute of it, but we actually only got a one song encore....that being said Blue Water (tease) was amazing full band and I thought we were getting it and watchtower was nuts (Stairway caught everyone off guard)......

The ASTB into Ants early was actually very refreshing, So Damn Lucky is crazy when it is played as tight as it was and the closing run is probably as good as it gets TWO STEP TWO STEP TWO STEP (knew for sure we were getting it late).......oh and don't kid yourself Nancies....into Warehouse is also as good as it gets.....especially when noone else is getting Warehouse lately.....the Band loves Raleigh.

Oh yeah are you kidding me with how good Bartender was to open???? Near perfection!

Can't wait for two VA shows..

I thought it was a damn hot set! That was a lot of bang for the buck. Ants, Dancing Nancies, Warehouse (I wanted the big jam at the end, but I'll survive), Watchtower, Grey Street, Bartender, Two-Step...It was ah...mazing!!! I think Jeff is doing a great job. No one can replace Leroi, but Jeff jams hard core. Had great people around me, crowd was great. Loved it! This will probably be the only show I can get to this year and I am so grateful I got to see this one. PS...cant wait for the new album. The new songs are deep and sound great.

This was by far the best show I've seen. I've only been to 5, but still. Not a bad song was played, and I'm not even that big of a fan of YMDT, but they played the hell out of it as well.

Jeff Coffin had some sounds coming out of that sax during one of his solos (#41 maybe? I really can't remember for sure) that I didn't know a sax could make, and his solo during Bartender seemed like it just kept going and going (but in a good way). DM danced a lot and really seemed to be having a great time. Timmy once again did things (musically) to a guitar that nobody should be able to do. Carter had a great solo during Two Step.

And Blue Water, although short, was amazing. It started out with the lights on Dave alone, then they raised and you heard Tim's guitar, and then Boyds violin all against a flowing water backdrop. I really, really can't wait to get this tape.

Snuck myself down to row 15 center as this is my home venue and I know the lay of the land well. Met some great people down there. This show was FANTASTIC!!! Best show of the tour so far (thru 4/27) and top 5 of my life- high energy, gr8 setlist, Jeff ripped it again, CARTER was on fire, Dave was fun, 1st Stairway to Heaven lyrics on Watchtower (usually not one of my favs esp as closer), Blue Water with a Boyd solo that was good (Boyd was M.I.A. most of the night again), again Jeff RIPPED IT!!!, 1st Wh of the tour and in the US since Roi passed, loved the #41, sweet two step closer, 1st FULL BAND BLUE WATER SINCE 1995!!!!, and I GOT FENTON'S SETLIST!!! Whatta night!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Wish every show could be like this one!

But wow first time to that ampitheatre and that crowd and venue was one of the worst!! But DMB rocked the house for me!!!!
