My wife and I had gotten married the day before this show, and after the wedding she surprised me and told me she had gotten us tickets to see DMB at the Jazz Fest. Best surprise ever!!!

My first show of the year... 4 new songs from the new album... My favorite part of dave shows is seeing music i have not heard before, so for me it was a dream... for Fans that only wanna hear the old stuff it probably wouldnt be anywhere near their favorite show... Coffin is the man!! he and carter had a great jam session and dave had a great dance halfway thru the show... cant wait to go to the next show!!

It was my first DMB concert, so I was, of course, excited to be there. The setlist was great. The played a great mix of old and new. It was great to get to hear a little bit of Big Whiskey before it actually came out. I fell in love with Spaceman.

Great show. Got to meet Rashawn and Jeff before the show - was walking on the track and they just happened to be walking from the tour bus area to somewhere. I said hi took a couple of pics with them. They were both really cool. It was awesome!

AMAZING! What a great show. The band played their asses off for us, they were happy and the crowd was happy. They didnt play ANY "bathroom songs". Everyone was receptive and we had a blast even though we were far away. 100K people were in attendance and we danced our butts off.

Got to the gates at 10:30...ran to the main stage and stayed in the same place for 7 hours until dave came on.

To be honest, it was anticlimactic. 'twas a typical, shortened, mainstream festival show.

two step opener was greatness.
nancies intro was greatness.

I just don't understand why dave couldn't throw in a recently or raven or especially a partial blue water. Or debut the borderline greatness of beachball in response to all of the 47,000 ones bouncing around in the crowd...

at least they didn't play bayou. We were all positive dave was gonna say something like, 'Hey Carter, what state are we in?' and then the next ten minutes would forever live on in infamy...

hopefully dallas this weekend with stan will be better...btw... he was right all along...

Pretty Good Show. I thought it included too many staple songs. Pretty much a highlight of the discography. Enjoyed Why I Am.

Was brilliant. only downfall was the wasted college kids infront of us that decided we were leaning posts because they couldnt stand and ashtrays for their joints.

5 because this was the best show DMB has played at Jazz Fest. Tim Reynolds was there but Dave didn't introduce him as a guest. I was left stage lip.

Getting right up front was totally worth the 6, 7 hours I parked myself along the fence, and the terrible sunburn I got because of it. Beautiful weather, and the crowd wasn't too bad, at least where I was standing. No surprises in terms of the set list, but overall a really solid, energized show. I know some Ants complain that Stay gets played way too often, but I hadn't seen it until this, my fourth show! Kind of a big moment for me, as it's always been one of my favorites. PNP > Rapunzel was a really rollicking end to a good show.

Good, not great.

There really wasn't much too it. I was expecting something special since it was the New Orleans show, after they cut the record and fell in love with the city. Wanted to see a guest...(Wynton Marsalis played the night before), but it was just every song we've ever heard so far this tour. Being on the second row made up for the mediocrity of the setlist.

Highlights...Two Step opener was fantastic. Best Grey Street i've heard in a long time. Boyd killed all night-esp. on Nancies. #41 was my favorite of the night, having Jeff battle with Carter back and forth for 5 minutes was great. Other than that...it was just kinda same ole same ole.
