Good (not great show)..Highlights were Time Bomb..one of the best songs on Big Whiskey, Carters solo on Two Step, Jeff Coffin's amazing solo in #41, and the high energy of RR (Robert Randolph)....."Lowlights", include no lights (power outage) during Granny, a weak Out of My Hands with Dave on piano (did the same song that year at Darien), rain and water running throughout the venue; even pouring in right above Dave's mic.....yet the band played on...not a bad start to the Summer tour.....cant wait for Shake Me Like a Monkey (sure to be an Instant Classic)!!!

Great show with a good setlist, 41 jam and two step jam were amazing was not expecting Robert Randolph on Rhyme and Reason which was real nice, and the power going on granny and the energy they had when they came back on was awesome.

The best show that I've seen at Darien since 2004. Timebomb sounded like it would be good when they soundchecked it 3 times and didn't disappoint during the show. Robert Randolph on Rhyme and Reason is a must have for anyones collection. It was a high intensity up tempo show that was riveting from start to finish. Also enjoyed that they started the show with the bands latest and newest radio hit and followed it with Granny, which has been mentioned by the band that it was going to be the first radio release but just didn't turn out that way. The power outage just made the show interesting and is a tribute to the music since they played 5 songs with just 4 spotlights and the speakers going, no other light show additions... and it was still great.

The weather was nice until Dave Started to play. Right as the band started to play it started to pour, but it didn't make for a bad show at all. Even from the lawn, where I got the full effect of the rain, I had a really good time. The music was great and it was actually fun dancing around in the rain.

I thought it was a great first show for this summer! Its going to be a great tour. I hadnt seen them since Leroi's passing, may he rest in peace, but i thought the chemistry and fire that Jeff borught was really great! Lots of new songs which i loved hearing live my only wish was that they did some more older stuff to. ROR with robert randolph WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fifth show and it was incredible...second only to last year's SPAC night two. Great setlist, Time Bomb was awesome. Two Step was insane, Carter's solo was epic. The weather made the show so much better in my opinion, I was on the lawn dancing my ass off in the rain.

what a great show. time bomb is an absolute fantastic song. kinda reminds me of how i felt when i heard grey street for the first time. the weather was perfect til the boys went on. however i think leroi was overlooking the show and opened up rain and downpour as a sign he was over watching the show from above. i also couldnt believe we heard a tease of "rain delay" 2nite either lmfao. if you were there you know what i am referencing too

great time, originally in the 500's but the monsoon showed me that the 500's are just a drainage point for the tent of the pavilion. all of the 500's rushed up and a nice person told me I could have their friends seat who did not show! Thanks!!!!!!!!

OK setlist with some great highlights- Two Step, Rhyme and Reason, and a great Rapunzel Jam. Robert Randolph was sick, and Timmy was laying it down as usual. Was so wet on the lawn that my phone took a whole day to dry off before it worked again! Can't wait for the tapes to come out!

well, since i ate a bunch of mushrooms before the show, the insane rain downpour that happened as dave took stage was incredible, then i had to stand on my seat because it was flooding underneath me. i loved it. it was only fitting they lost power for a sec during granny, time bomb was great live, and i love rye whiskey and rapunzel as the encore. ive seen much better shows as this was my 19th, but the atmosphere was unreal. maybe i was just real fucked up tho!

This show was absolutely great. Why DMB would ever pick Darien Lake to open their new album tour, I will never know, but I certainly am not complaining. I enjoyed hearing new album songs live before I even got the CD, and its pretty special to be a part of the crowd that was the first to hear Time Bomb. Unforgettable.

Good show dispite the downpours and power outage that caused some confusion on stage. Good thing we were under the shell...looking back from our seats the poor people in the lawn were in the rain from show start to end, but the cheers and good times lasted troughout the rain. Personally I loved the new album songs performed live, they sounded great! The only thing I might say negitive about the show was it seemed a little short despite the good song list, maybe its just me, but I thought they cut a few jam sessions short. Over all a good start to the tour and hope to see a few more before the summers over!

Alright, here we go...

Amazing show, with tons of highlights. Funny was a perfect opener and great live with some extended Boyd and Tim jams compared to the album version. The power going out during the Granny jam was hilarious, but thank god it came back on. New tunes were awesome, seven and time bomb were crazy good. They'll definitely get more response when the album hits the shelves. Great covers, Burning down the house was wild and rye whiskey was the best dave solo ive ever heard without a doubt.

Finally got to see Randolph and the jam into rhyme and reason was just awesome. Would have liked to have seen more Boyd during the show, but his solo on Nancies was wicked.

Two Step and #41 were of course epic performances, especially Coffin ripping up sojourn of arajuna (sp?)

The encore might have seemed weaker by song name, but it had the best rapunzel jam ive witnessed.

Overall an awesome with my favorites surprisingly, for me, being burning down the house, funny, rye whiskey, rhyme, and rapunzel.

Props to the champs on the lawns who grinded out that rain.

Two weeks to Toronto / Montreal.

Definitely a little disappointed after this one, which might be unfair since all I have to compare it to is SPAC night 2 from last year. The band sounded great and some of the solos were unreal(Jeff on 41, Carter on Two Step), but the setlist was mediocre at best. The Rye Whiskey/Rapunzel encore was a major letdown altogether. Overall a decent show- nowhere else I'd rather be in the middle of a thunderstorm!

Highlights: FTWII opener, the skies opening up as DMB walked on the stage, power going off during Granny, then Carter doing a solo to bring it back, and Time Bomb! What a great song that is! Two Step (Carter's solo), and one amazing version of Rhyme and Reason w/ Randloph

Only down side is that this set (minus TB) was almost the exact same in Vegas.

Two Step and #41 were worth the price of admission alone. The rain just added to the experience, I was surprised how many people stuck around on the lawn. Can't wait to hear what time bomb sounds like 2 months from now - could be a beast. Not sure why the avg ants rating says 3.5 stars when each of the reviews are 4 and up. Great show tonight, pumped for the rest of the summer.

My 10th DMB show and an excellent one at that. The atmosphere was incredible with the rain pouring as soon as the show started. The first live playing of time bomb was excellent and the other new songs and getting better every recording. An incredible job by the crew to get stuff up and running quickly during Granny when the power dropped out. Kept the show going and DMB tore it up the rest of the night especially with two step. Encore wasnt too bad kinda brief and would have liked to have heard SMLAM

My 18th show. Might of edged into my top ten. Decent setlist. The guys had a lot of energy and the storm gave it a fun twist. Roi made his presence felt with the storm and the power going out. #41 and Two Step were epic. Maybe the best versions I have heard. Carter's drum solo was mind blowing. Timebomb was awesome! It was really cool seeing Dave play Out of My Hands on the piano as rain flooded onto the stage in front of him. "There's a hole in my umbrella, fuck it!". Overall a good show.

amazing even with the monsoon weather. i loved that the power went out and they just kept going. this proved that they are talented. felt a little empty with out leroi and boyd didnt seem to have the spark he normally has. he seemed off to the distance more and only going absolutely nuts for one song. both stephan and dave seemed to be dancing more than last year. i also loved the fact they played a bunch of their new stuff. after the show saw the boys driving away and got to stand with in reaching distance of dave. crazy

Great show, good set.

Robert Randolph on Rhyme was fantastic, 41 and Nancies were both great. I think Carter got me pregnant during Two Step.

Funny was a good opener, crowd dug it.

Kudos to the band for taking the leaking tent and power outages in stride. Lesser bands would just tank the show, but not DMB....

FTWIS, So Damn Lucky and Granny were a great first three songs. The storm and power going out (only because it came back on) just added to the show. Although I'm glad I was in the pavilion, the lawn must have been pretty awesome. #41 was amazing and Two Step was the most insane I've ever heard. Love Carter's and Jeff's solos. I love the Burning Down the House cover and Dancing Nancies was awesome. Good to see Rhyme or Reason, and although I wasn't a fan of Rye Whiskey in the encore, Pantala and Rapunzel made it all better, incredible ending. Parking lots sucked, but all worth it.
