what a FANTASTIC show - venue was perfect, and I'm considering only going to general admission shows from now on. The band was unbelievable, most notably the way they jammed and communicated with eachother. They've adopted this new "tease ending" pattern that i noticed last night, loving every minute of the climax of a song, all gathered around carter looking at each other waiting for the signal to finish.
I was at the toronto show the night before and between the two nights, though many repeats was not bored! Jimi thing was fanastic, and crush... my goodness, watching tim and jeff straight up argue with their instruments was surreal.
I feel like the modern dave has adopted this new show personality, a kind od mix of his old nervousness with a new sense of showmanship.
this was my fifth show - the band is on. what a birthday

Great show! Setlist was very strong, can't believe they played 2 more songs after Ants. Very generous. 2h45min! Everytime I see them, they are always better than the last. Merci beaucoup!

The band had waay more energy than the crowd did, some people were really into it but a lot of people were barely moving if at all which was annoying, but the fact that the show was so good made it not matter.
The new Saxaphonist, Jeff Coffin, blew me out of the water during the show...I gained a lot of respect for him and I think he's proving himself very very fast. Among the Highlights were a NASTY carter drum solo at the end of Two Step, a Tim and Jeff Coffin duel (cant remember the song), a ASTB ending and going into the two much intro, which was played twice (unusual) and then everyone was suprised when they jumped right into the ants marching starting riff. Lots of energy, awesome show

First bartender opener, amazing.
The GA venue meant we were really close which was a change compared to stadiums and amphitheaters. The crowd was small so not crazy loud, but the atmosphere was great.
First show out of 10 where I can say there wasn't a single song I could have done without. So many longer jamming songs.
All I can say is one of the highlights was during crush when Tim and Jeff detuned their instruments while battling, the entire band was laughing.
Epic show.

Best show so far... Not so much for the setlist as far as I'm concern, but for the performance and the venue.

my first DMB show so obviously it felt amazing, but then i went to SPAC N2 a few days later... completely blew this show out of the water! Still, can't complain about crush, bartender, jimi thing, dreaming tree, ants, grey street and two step

it was a dark gloomy day, then the sun came out for the first time time all day about 1hr before DmB got on stage, a true sign that summer is here. Boys were great, new songs sound fantastic already... Love the new Jimi Thing ending. And the ending of the 2step was the craziest i have ever heard.

Safe to say I haven't been to a bad Dave show...ever. People complained about the crowd. Hard for me to judge. I was right up against the barrier up front, dead centre. I was just so fixated on the band and to see Dreaming Tree live, well, I was happy as a pig in shit. Great show.

Simply amazing!! Almost 3 hours of music, solos, jams. I don't know if they went all out cause their last trip to MTL was over 5 years ago, but it was the best show of the tour up to that point; and maybe it still is. I can't wait for the audio if someone has it. Crowd could have been a little better, but the good thing about having less hardcore fans was that it was easy to get a good spot. Anyone looking for a GA show with a chance at a prime spot, Montreal is the place to go if they come back to Jean-Drapeau.

Tenth show for me, and tops on my list.
General admissions meant we were mad close.
Long set, not a single bad song.

Show was unbelievable. Loved the 100% GA in a venue built for 70,000. The band put on a killer show. Couldn't stop moving the whole time. Solos were absolutely crazy.

Perfectly played, the solo with Reynold and Jeff was perfect, they've been musically talking for like 5 minutes, it was AWESOME. They offered us a really good playlist, different from the last shows in Ontario ... LOVED it !!!
