good show! never been to the Greek before, turned out to be a pretty cool venue. unfortunately we were late, i thought there was gonna be an opener =(. still had a great time. got to our seats for Shake Me. highlight of the night for me was Baby Blue. i was really hoping to hear this song and wasn't expecting to, based on the rest of the tour's setlists. but i got excited when i saw dave come out solo with the little guitar for the encore. the song was beautiful, the crowd was honestly the most quiet that i have ever heard at a dmb show. there was a cheer here and there, but for the most part i didn't really hear anybody yapping away during this song. at least not in my section. it seemed appropriate. other songs that stick out are Lying in the Hands of God with a guest flautist who did a pretty amazing solo. Crush, Tim and Jeff are really pushing it on the jam. Alligator Pie got people moving. The Maker got a good groove goin. over all just had a good time as usual =D

Loved hearing the new stuff. LITHOG was sick with that flute!!! Alligator Pie has come a long way. Tripping billies was also partiularly good. I love how much better Boyd has gotten in this last year! He kept his hood on the entire show. I thought that was kinda goofy looking.

1st show of the tour for me. LOVE the Greek. Seemed like the band was having a great time. Joints were thrown onstage at the end! Dave kept remarking about the "smell". Love all the new songs. Lying In the Hands was incredible with Nestor. Can't wait for Chula.

Amazing flute by Nestor Torres, great Crush, Baby Blue. Dave's voice sounded crystal clear. I just don't get Alligator Pie.

Hated the audience...people were talking through the whole show and uninterested. Other than that it was a great show.

If I could give it a 4.5, I would. Not quite a 5, but a really solid show. Was in the Pit in front of BT. He wore a hoodie the whole night and really kept covering his face. Dave looked really tired close up, but he danced and moved around a lot. It was cool to see the Matthews and Lessard kids on side stage for the first few songs... Baby Blue was really great -Got off to a rough start...and dave repeated the first lines...

During Crush, Tim and Jeff are really "dukin' it out" on the jam. Jeff Coffin showed he's a virtuoso, and he sometimes even fills those big empty shoes LeRoi Moore left lying there on the stage. I never complain about Coffin, because the man filled the gap and brings his own style. I'd hate him if he was just a LeRoi Moore fakir just aping LeRoi's stuff. I've never heard a more beautiful flute melody than Norris Torres (?) on Lying in the Hands of God. Just fantastic.

Pretty sold show, definitely left me wanting for more. Can't wait for the second night.

Boyd was on tonight, it seemed like it was his show.

Baby Blue was incredible, the encore was amazing. It seemed to be tailored to Roi.

Torres really added to LITHOG. Stay or Leave has really grown on me, love this song.

Good show, but not amazing. Baby Blue was def. the highlight - you could of heard a pin drop. The venue was great, and they were on. Setlist just wasn't as interesting as I was hoping for.

Not a bad show. We had the second to LAST row but at the Greek that's not a bad seat at all!

The band seemed a little worn down from such a long summer but the show overall was pretty darn good!

As they played the Maker, the moon was rising over the hills...SWEET!

It was an awesome! I sat in Section C Row E. Even though I was toward the back, every seat at the Greek is great! I can't wait for the show tonight.

Really strong show. My two least favorite songs live, YMDT and WAYG and still one of my favorite shows. Greek is a great place to see a show. Oh yeah, Sexy Motherfucker, Shaking that ass, Shakin' that ass!

Just like the first ever show at the Hollywood Bowl the band missed out on what could have been a truly special night at an amazing venue by doing nothing special with the setlist.

Great show with very high energy. Fantastic venue and crowd. Long set because of no opening act. I can't say enough positive remarks. The new songs are great live, especially Seven & LITHOG. Dancing Nancies into So Damn Lucky was great, especially since we heard Stay Or Leave earlier in the show. Dave's voice on Baby Blue was sweet and his guitar sounded great. Have I said great enough?

He was way to drunk or high for the show to be any good for me. Not only that but this was my first experience at the Greek which was less than stellar. No Energy at all. I guess i am spoiled by all the George shows...
