This show was incredible. It was the first Dave and Tim show that I've seen and it was worth all the trouble it took to make it out to Vegas for a night. I was so surprised at how well the BW songs translated to D&T. Although I don't really care for Timebomb, it was fantastic. Good energy from the crowd! Great Dave speak! Awesome show!

Vegas always sucks! Took Kayla to her first show. She has yet to see the band play. She took every last penny I had milking me for anything! People around us kept talking to her and asking her her favorite song. She told them Gravedigger and ended up passing out just before they played it. They were all telling me to wake her up but it was no use she was out. Kinda like when I took her, Sam and Jenny to see Stevie Nicks. None the less, I spent a lot of money on her to pass out. Oh and the next day we went and watched The band in 3d at the theater and again she passed out. I think I will charge her for her next show.

Best D&T show since October 27 show in Vegas that I went to see. Ive seen countless D&T shows and this one had so much good mojo during it that I cant complain a bit and seeing the Grux album tracks on acoustic definately exceeded my expectations. I always grade the most recent DMB album based on how D&T play the songs acoustically. Ive been doing that since 96 and its usually spot on. Highlights were over half the show truely but for me it was Little Red, Spaceman, Shake Me...., Timebomb as encore and Cant find my way home. Thank you to D&T for another amazing acoustic evening.

Good show! Nice to hear BW songs acoustically. 'Little Red Bird' was a treat as was 'Can't Find My Way Home'. Have yourself a Merry little Christmas started as a joke in response to the Claus' in the audience, but turned to an audience participation song. Really funny DaveSpeak. In Vegas and using the word douchebag alot. My man nails it as usual.

All in all a GREAT show!!...all be it for a few "douche-bags" in the crowd!! (Dave had just told a story on how the word douche-bag is making a comeback...pretty funny stuff, no sooner was the story over a donny brook broke out in front of us. The first fight ever in my 30 Dave shows) ....I believe it to be a product of Vegas. That diminished the show for me a little, but not Dave's fault!....Dave sounded strong... Tim is a guitar GOD!!! Awesome set list!!!....All in all a kick ass show...not sure I'd come back to Vegas though....

Second night of our Vegas trip. Had great seat for open night. Dave was his usual spacey self - really rode a couple people in the crowd for yelling during the quite guitar riffs. First time that Paula has heard an acoustic show - my second

It was my first acoustic show (besides FarmAid), so it was special! Dave sounded great, and I loved his ramblings. Hated the crowd around me, though... I guess it's to be expected given the venue.

OK, I had high expectations and these guys blew 'em away.
First review above is spot on.
This was my first (of 3) D&T shows and it is a real treat. As far as I know some of the BWGK songs had not been played in acoustic yet.
Dave told some good stories last night for those that like some Davespeak...he was rambling and weaving and, well, entertaining as hell. He got into a little Las Vegas schtick a few times and it tickled me. D&T seemed to have a great time playing. Dave left the stage a few times for Tim's solos. Dave's scatting was classic.

So, here's a setlist of songs and one of his stories...not sure where each one fits.
I did not recognize "Oh" so thanks a million to canes above. And that's from a die hard Sooner fan to a Canes fan I assume. Only in Dave's world...dogs and cats living together, peace on earth, and goodwill among rivals.

N1:
So Damn Lucky - I still say Tim took this song from mediocre to rockin' in 08/09
Stay Or Leave - Sweet song
FTWII - Ironic Dave, dancy happy tune with lyrics bordering on darkness
LITHOG - BE-AUT-I-FUL!
Bartender - Solid solid version.
ODH - It was on my wishlist this night. Only thing that took away were the two really loud girls behind me just jabbering about godknowswhat through half of the song. I wanted to give 'em a big glass of STFU.
Crush - Mmmm Mmmmm goood.
Tim Solo - groovy song that would kick all our butt's on "easy" mode in Guitar Hero.
SMLAM - BAM! The energy just cranked up here with this song.
Little Red Bird - Dave told a sweet story about the LRB that inspired this song. A pretty rare treat.
Alligator Pie - Familiar intro about Stella asking "Daddy when you gonna put me in a song...."
Eh Hee - Acoustic? Really? Yes, it works.
Cant Find My Way Home - This was a nice song that nobody expected.
Spaceman - As good as you could ask for.
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (a'capella) - goofy, campy, and beautifully sung. Dave channelled Judy Garland.
Oh - I did not know what this song was and put "???" on my list. Pretty song and nice to hear another song new to me.
The Maker - Gah. How is it that Dave, who sure seems to be agnostic, gets so much feeling into this song?
This song just stirs up emotions and was sure a highlight for N1.
Tim Solo - Tim got into some blues on this. Granted it was Blues TR-style so it was funky, exerimental, and
made my ears bleed it was so good. Really...check this one out.
41 - Funny intro and the crowd sung and swayed along.
Gravedigger - BAM! POW! KAPLOOIE! This was just really a solid song.
Dancing Nancies - What a high-energy ending to the set!
Encore N1:
Time Bomb - As hard hitting as it was all year long
Two Step - Time drug this out and made it last about a minute longer. He really seemed to enjoy himself tonight.
I KNOW I enjoyed myself. Great to meet some Ants. Friends from Philly, Fresno, and Utah.

Stories:
Little Red Bird - song and inspiration about a LRB with one leg
New Years Eve Story - dancing naked, watching fireworks, offroading, getting lost
Orangutan Story - Comparing crazy Las Vegas (with sponsors) to NOLA...story about NOLA zoo...intro to Eh Hee
Dentist Story - Dave questions dentists recommended unsolicited treatment
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - greatness
D'Bag/Apeshit - Dave's favorite new old words. RIGHT after I decided the guy next to me was a DBag ...into to 41

This is a good venue for a show like this. A little congested at the doors, but compared to most other venues it was clean, easy to get to the bathroom and drinks...just need another merch booth.

Love it! 10th row.
Slow start. Love the few lines to open prior to So Damn Lucky...Wished it was more midset cause I don't feel they were ready to give it everything. Think they were trying to find the right sound...
Little Red Bird is very clever. #41 finally got people out into the aisle to dance! Time Bomb/Two Step was a solid encore!

Really great show despite an annoying crowd. But, it was Vegas after all... Dave's voice was spot on, as was Timmy's playing. The fact that a fight broke out, during #41, was just INSANE... Never thought I'd see that a DMB show, much less Dave and Tim...
