show number 8 for me so of course not a huge pool to pull from, but amazing show for me, great energy in the crowd though im biased because I took a few of my best friends for their first show.

A solid four. I had really been looking forward to seeing them play Watchtower and Crush with Tim. Good mix on the setlist. Only thing that kept this from a five, was Two Step. After being blown away with last years version, I thought this one was just okay.

after coming off and coming from an amazing performance in Jackson sqaure i was looking forward to my first ever two night run in texas with the dave matthews band. but boy would i quickly be dissappointed!! To start this is probally one of the WORST crowds i have ever been around in my 40 shows that i have been to,there was no intereaction just people standing around with there arms crossed and being chatty kathy the whole time distracting those of us who were there to see the band and not just drink and have a good time!! As for the show it was good but a little predictable with the proudest into satelite and nancies into warehouse, but the energy was good wish there could have been a few more solos. Two Step and Write a Song were good as always.but the bottom line i will not make the trip back to houston and i dont see why dave continues to play this venue!!

5th show and I finally got to hear two step! Jeff was absolutely amazing on Lying in the Hands of God! They still got it.

Made it out to Texas! Great view of stage with only a few people in front. Grey Street always makes the show.... Got my first Write a Song! This was show # 31

First DMB concert ever, and I had a blast. Upper pavilion seats, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could still see the entire stage despite being so far to the side.

Squirm as an opener caught me off guard, and it immediately worried me about BWGGK overkill. Proudest Monkey and Satellite seemed like weird 2 and 3 slots considering how slow and mellow they are, and while I typically don't like either it is definately still cool to see live. SMLAM was good, no FMLAD line though. LITHOG was enjoyable as well, but I wish Jeff would have let loose a little more. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I Did It and then You and Me. Well, probably my least favorite live songs, but I Did It was still refreshing and even You and Me has its moments in the bridge, so I wasn't too disapointed.

Then my mind was blown. The next 12 songs were a perfect balance of energy and passion, with Digging a Ditch breaking up Warehouse and Seven, and Baby Blue breaking up Crush and DDTW. Two Step was ridiculous, Carter Beauford on the drums! Although I like improv intros to it better, it's always interesting hearing people go "WHOA WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED TO TWO STEP! BOOO TIME BOMB!" only to look like a fool.

No E1 Dave spot threw me off a little, and I'm pretty sure ~95% of the people in the audience had no clue what Blackjack was. I was the only one singing the chorus in my entire section. And of course AATW was an awesome closer.

I grabbed some video, a poster and a shirt for momentos, and although I won't be able to see them next year(break), I am hoping for a D&T tour with some Texas stops. And being optimistic here, lets hope they come back around in 2012 as great as ever!

4 Stars because:

6 BW, although they were all pretty good.
No #41, I was really hoping for it.
First 3 songs were pretty slow, my section was sitting for most of it actually.

Good show...better overall setlist than Dallas, but Dallas did have The Last Stop. The hilights of Houston were Nancies->Warehouse, Digging a Ditch, and DDTW. The crowd seemed more into it in Dallas though...will go to both shows in 2012 when the band comes back on tour for sure.

Jeff must have been feeling bad...no solos (except for a short one in LITHOG). Good show, though.

Got kicked out for smoking in the pavilion during the encore, was too drunk for this concert. We took a party bus from James Ryan and Fodells house.

Great show. Hard to hit a 5 star imo with the setlists they have been playing this summer but that's just my opinion, everyones is different. Tonight I got to hear a good amount of classics, Nancies, Warehouse (minus the annoying woo's), greyst(bring back the full version PLEASE), two step, watchtower. Good mix in with the new stuff. Nothing shocking in the set list but a great solid show. Is RRoss from Houston? He had a Astros cap on.

What an awesome place for a concert and DMB, once again, didn't disappoint! First few mellow songs was an omen for what was to follow......AWESOME setlist and performed to perfection (as always). The Nancies/Warehouse combo never gets old. Now I just have to find something to do next summer!!!! Enjoy the rest Dave and guys....by God, you deserve it!!
