GREAT SHOW(#19)! The band was tight. It was cool to hear dave talk more than he does at a normal tour show. The lighting this year is HOT! LITHOG was off the charts led by jeff coffins solo. encore was excellent with a great neil young cover and the fireworks capped off AATW!!!! i am a better person for having experienced this show.

Very boring, uninspired, and going-through-the-motions performance. The band can do (and should do) better in this type of setting. Closing out Bonnaroo, the A-game needs to be brought. It wasn't. Very disappointing.

i was so tired from jay z>deadmau5>bisco from the night before and dmb also put on the worst show i have seen. that being said, it is clear that even witha sub-par setlist and maybe not the best jams a "bad" dmb show is still better than 90% of any other "good" shows

It was a great show, but I was hoping for the old shit they have been at every other show than this one!!! But damn they jammed out hard to every thing they did.

Show is more interesting on the recording than it was while I was there. Not a bad show, just not what I was expecting for a festival.

Solid show. Dave was on fire! Soaked in sweat! Love when Dave talks alot during shows. This was my 3rd Bonnaroo, going only because Dave was there. I liked the setlist in 2005 better. Setlist LET ME DOWN! This was my 18th show. I wanted some Big Eyed, JTR, Cry Freedom...etc. The old stuff they have been playing on tour. Solid BIg Whiskey show. I wanted more since it was Bonnaroo.. Like Long Black Veil, Halloween, Last stop. etc. etc. Die hards def wanted more from the setlist, but KILLER show...Like always! STL tonight! Alpine in 2 1/2 weeks!!!

Kind of a somber set. I loved it, but a lot of the casual fans I was with were really put off.

This show certainly did not blow any die-hard fan's mind, but the band was tight and Dave's voice sounded really good. I loved the horns in "Jimi Thing," the energy in "Tripping Billies," and the beautifully sung "Needle and the Damage Done." That said, the show was in many ways a disappointment; the potential for this show was great (JTR, Kit Kat Jam, Cry Freedom, or Busted Stuff would've been nice), but instead of playing any of those they stuck to a pure 2009 Whiskey show. They played it well, but it was a bit of a let down.

Best evironment and spectacle I have ever seen DMB put on. Fireworks in que with th music and end show and end of encore.

Best 2 Step I have ever seen. They keep improving this song.

Great bass intro to Watchtower. Unusual when Stefan was on the floor playing the pedal..great beat!

Front row on the barricade, and in front of Stefan...waited in line from 8:30am or so for 12+ hours in crazy heat!!!. Met some cool people in line, and had two runs to get that front row. Show was great!!! I got the only setlist from the show!!! :) Which, was great as it was my 16th show since 2000 and I had travelled a few thousand miles for the Festival and to see my favourite band ;) I thought and wished they would have played longer! Highlight of the set, was probably Dave playing the Neil Young cover. Also, I really loved SDL and JT....not to mention Watchtower closing it out.

I was THE closest person out of all 80,000 to Dave, and it was totally worth the 12 hour wait. Great show with a good setlist considering they were probably trying to promote Big Whiskey at the festival. "All Along the Watchtower" finish made the night.

The setlist was not rare, especially within the tour. However, i thought the band actually played a very solid show with a lot of good energy. Great version of Die Trying, LITHOG, and DDTW. I really also like the needle and the damage done as a cover, and the E1 slot was an interesting place for it. show 3 of 5 this summer, and overall a good musical performance. Cant wait for wrigley field

1. DDTW opener, nice.
2. YMDT, standard.
3. Seven, (who are those horn players?) Dave introduced them as Matt Caffey and Lamont Caldwell later
4. LITHOG, good solo by JC, not my favorite song, tends to sap crowd energy
5. SMLAM - way to get the energy back
6. Can't Stop - Dave mentioned it's been awhile since they played this.
7. Tripping Billies, awesome and Fenton's lightshow really took off from this point!
8. Spaceman, with Danny Barnes
9. Cornbread, with DB
10. Too Much, fun fast version
11. So Damn Lucky
12. Why I Am - "for the Groogrux King"
13. Jimi Thing - sexy mf outro
14. Timebomb - I love this live, good version with lots of jam potential. This song builds like a 5 minute crescendo.
15. Two Step - 2 step sting plucking with Timebomb lyrics...awesome segue!
BREAK
16. Needle and the Damage Done - short, Dave mentioned that Neil Young is one of his heroes and sang in falsetto. Nice piece and it could have been longer.
17. Watchtower - solid with long Stairway interp.

All in all a very solid crisp show with not too many surprises tonight. Sounded amazing, at times it seemed a little rushed. It was about 90 degrees at 9:00 PM and 90% humidity. By the 3rd song Dave was soaked in sweat.

I worked the Bonaroo Music Festival and having had all the rare and great opportunities of being behind the scenes I must say that to cap the whole thing off with a front row center performance by DMB was the best.

Spent my day from 12pm-7:30pm officiating our league's Flag Football Tournament (double elimination) in 100 degree heat. Then jumped in the car, drove straight down I-24. Bought my wristband at a gas station in Manchester at 8:30pm. Parked my car at some guys yard and made my way through the camp grounds.

I could hear DDTW and YMDT(fav live jam song), finally got in the crowd for an amazing Lying in the Hands of God (I miss 'Roi, but Jeff holds his own, no doubt).

TOO MUCH (non teased) was awesome. Hadn't heard that song in it's entirety since Charlotte '08. Got to hear Can't Stop for the 1st time. Time Bomb >> Two Step was amazing. I always get chills during Dave's Two Step intros (in person and on live cd). "..help me believe, help me believe, help me believe in JESUS!!!!" One of those I'll never forget.

Watchtower to close the show is always awesome. I could say it's getting a little old since it was the 6th time I had heard it in my last 11 shows, but I created a big fit at each of my first 3 shows ('02-'05 Nashville) when I didn't get Watchtower, so I've only brought it on myself.

DMB was amazing as usual. I had friends that were down there all weekend and it was there 1st time to see DMB and all they could tell me was that the band's performance was 'phenomenal'.
