Yessss! I'd like to consider myself somewhat critical when it comes to DMB & their shows seeing as how I'm pushing towards 30 shows attended. Tonight was amaze-balls from the start! Songs 1-7 couldn't have been picked out any better. I genuinely felt spoiled leaving the show tonight after a solid set & effort from everyone tonight. Their month long break after these 3 shows is much deserved in my book.

Very close to beating night one. Energy was awesome. I loved hearing BOWA and Watchtower was sweet. Covers were busted out awesomely! He really adds his own feel to it that makes it awesome. Great weekend!

Started out in epic fashion with that 7 song run but had peaks and valleys from there. And Sister.... come on Dave. If you are going to go 2 solos to start an encore, cant you come up with ANYTHING other than Sister? But admission was worth it for the first half of the show alone.

Started with a Brewers victory at Miller Park and Flaming Lips covering Dark Side of the Moon. Wayne said that Dave Matthews Band himself gave him the money to put in balloons during Money. The venue, neighborhood and parking were just fine, despite what many said. The show had a nice run of songs in the middle. Borat came out to play an awkward solo in Rhyme and Reason and Sweet Emotion. Some songs, such as Idea of You and Sister made it seem like the fun machine took a dump and died. There were also two grown men doing some sort of fairy dance behind us for the whole show; no problem there. Dave called Carter an a hole and mf'er in the same sentence. I thought they were friends. There were sound issues, too.

They are saying the best 7 song start....I say the best 12 song start. Buena, Gravedigger, and Can't stop killed the show's energy and that confusion in the encore (which is not a complaint because we got an extra song out of it.)
I would have subbed in Halloween, Recently, or anything else instead of those 3 songs.
It was a great show overall...thanks DMB!!!!!

One of my favorite live set-lists I've attended. Shotgun for the first time for me. Loved Joe Lawlor on Rhyme and Reason and Sweet Emotion cover. Gravedigger and Thank You closer also a highlight. Decided never to see them less than one night after this run of 3 in a row for my first time in Chicago with my wife.

That first 9 song run was ridiculous. My first BOWA after 32 shows. I've been wanting that one for a while. The second part of the show took a dive but that first part had enough strength to carry any show. Really enjoyed the entire weekend. Thanks DMB.

Not that great of a show in my opinion. Idea of You is stellar though. I don't understand why DMB ended with a cover, why fans are ok with it, and why Dave gets more energized for that cover song than he does any DMB song? Really didn't sit well with me.

Opening of this set was really good. Joe Lawlor blew the crowd away in r&r and sweet emotion! Dave was loving every second of thank you, climbing out in front of the video screens going out of his mind! Fonz was totally into this set, clearly rocking out to EVERYTHING!

This show started out with such promise, highlights for me were Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, Captain, Warehouse, & Seek Up. After that, it kind of flat lined. The covers were a bit much tonight & the show pretty much died for me at the Buena-Gravedigger-Can't Stop run of songs. Watchtower helped but then Thank You as a closer? The band must really love this song to play it to end the 3 day run, but I HATE it. Overall a good show but it could've been so much better.

Easily the greatest show I have ever seen. Once Say Goodbye hit, I was impressed pretty much all the up to the encore. Some Devil was good, but I was surprised they followed with Sister and closed with Thank You. I think Dave is getting a little carried away with the covers. Sweet Emotion, Buena, AATW (classic), and Thank You. could have easily been filled with way better DMB songs and I think he knows that. Still a great show but was bummed to still miss out on Last Stop.

The way they came out, they were either really fired up from Flaming Lips Dark side of the moon set or were trying to top them (which is not possible, but I appreciate the effort).
Buena, Shotgun, the idea of you broke up the awesomeness a little but its good hearing a new/rarer songs performed, still fantastic set to close the festival.

Perhaps it was the fact that The Flaming Lips had just melted my face with Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz, but this set list blew up the night for us......I cant ever remember a better first half to a show. Night 3 has me jonesin for More DMB this year yet....

I have never seen these guys have a better time playing together. Awesome show, dave was jacked.. decided to go climbing around the stage on Thank You. Covers were awesome this weekend. Really cool that they can put something like this on and put on 3 great, yet totally differant shows. Sunday was 2nd best show i've ever seen... amazing opening run that just kept going. Love this band!

My 30th show overall and 6th in the ChicagoLand Area.
Awesome, awesome setlist. What an opening hour of music! OSW is my favorite opener and then Bartender with an early set Say Goodbye - whooooo!
Love, love the Shotgun! Yes! Where were the Warehouse 'wooh's'?
Glad Joe Lawlor is still around - I saw this guy in Indy back in '07 and he cranks! No one around me knew him, but I filled them in.
AATW was super sweet and Some Devil was a nice surprise. And closing with 'Thank You' - very fitting lyrics for the weekend! Thank you DMB once again.

what an opening run. what a show. what a night. joe lawlor was on fire!!!. great variety in the set, and each song was performed at a great level, with one or two minor hiccups. the covers were amazing. buena kicks serious ass. only let down was that there was nothing from BTCS. could have used some DT, Last Stop, Halloween, etc. But even with that, nothing can stop me from giving this show 5 stars. absolutely amazing. what a weekend!!!!

Really epic lineup... One sweet world opener is one of my favorites. Best of what's around into captain was a treat. Relatively short version of seek up was appreciated. Rhyme and reason and sweet emotion with Joe were unreal... Rashawn and Coffin raged during sweet emotion, really enjoyed that. Hadn't ever heard Buena but it was a good jam. Dave was in great form, chatting so much, hilarious comments, and scaling the stage during thank you... Really great show!

Easily the best show I've been to so far. The first nine songs were a complete powerhouse and the rest of the show was utterly fantastic too. Got my first Ants after four shows! Thank You to close was insane. Lots of good Davespeak throughout the night. "As loose as a goose...... In a rubber caboose (long pause) *looks at Carter*" Hilarious! The highlights for me were BOWA, Captain, Rhyme and Reason (Joe was going crazy!), Buena, and Thank You. It was hard to pick; the setlist is just filled with great songs. The best part about this show for me was out of my previous three shows, I had only seen six of what was played at this one. Nearly every song was a new one to hear for me (and some rare ones at that!). Overall this show just rocked. Good people, good venue, good openers at the South Works stage, and one good good time.

Can you ask for a better early run? That in itself wins in my book. Although the last six songs were really standard and I was just setting the bar too high for the encore. Ants was awesome as usual but there was low energy from crowd where I was during Thankyou and I think that's because everyone was bummed with no Last Stop or Halloween.
