First Time at The George, I was awestruck and in a daze. JBT was an 11 out of 10. 49th show
ABI was awesome mid set, carter brkoe a drum and they switched to sweet early, shotgun = killer time bomb is a great way to start the weekend

Setlist was just ok. Amercan Baby intro and Shotgun saved it. What do you expect for the first night? Tomorrow and Sunday should be greatly improved. And, it is the Gorge!

Mellow opening night. Kind of sparse crowd for the Gorge I thought. Cool the floor was open seating for once though! But definitely a lot of room to spread out in comparison to other nights at The Gorge. Set flow was all over the place. Couldn't quite figure out what the band was trying to do in terms of mood that night. Dave had some quite numbers on the guitar and piano, that kind of seemed out of place. Great overall night.

It was a very mellow setlist and a bit odd in its arrangement. But for night number 1 at gorge it was a nice chill way to kick off the weekend.

This night one blew me away. It was my first concert at the Gorge and I was so stoked. The highlight was easily American Baby Intro > American Baby. I was at Cincinnati 2006 (my 4th show) and it was the last time American Baby was played...was neat to see it after a 5 year break at my 11th show here.
Other than that I loved PNP>Rapunzel and Tripping Billies. I remember leaving the show thinking "I don't care what songs DMB plays...I'm just ecstatic to be here watching them at the Gorge finally!"

Great show to start off the weekend. Good to see American Baby Intro again into American Baby. Of course having John Butler Trio open for them, was a great touch to the evening. DDTW was very reminiscent to start off a show.

I thought they got off to a slow start (apart from DDTW), but by Rapunzel they were on fire! Lying In The Hands Of God was amazing! Also liked Crush, Tripping and Grey Street. Whiter Shade of Pale was a cool surprise. Oh yes, AB Intro into AB was something I thought they should do for years. Glad to see them do it! I would rate it higher than 4, like 4.5, but not a 5.

I'm rating a 3 because it was opening night and at the Gorge. Overall pretty flat, low energy croud, just OK setlist. If this was my first Dave show I'm coming away less than wowed. Sat/Sun are sure to light it up though.

This was a great experience. Not hearing DMB live and then hearing them open with Don't Drink sent chills down my spine. Always a great song to hear live. Shotgun was a great inclusion, and the greatest part of the night was being a part of history hearing American Baby Intro-American Baby for the first time live since 2006. Tripping Billies was as always, a great show ender. Great show!

Very good night one. The performances were solid. The band sounded very tight. Coffin was especially great on LITHOG. The set was a little low energy at times, but still well executed. Highlights were ABI->AB and A Whiter Shade of Pale.

Shotgun made this show for me. There was a strange break of energy when Sweet, OOMH were played back to back but that ended up being a bonus when Whiter Shade wasnt on the original set.....ABI and Shotgun were sick. Shotgun in Chicago was better but I was closer for Gorge...Its a toss up.

Thrilling N1!!! Was on the second row in the pit. As a friend of mine said, theres the Gorge, and then theres everywhere else. What a great way to start off the weekend! I think I enjoyed this show more than anybody else there.
