Rarest show of the tour so far, Minarets opener, lie in our graves reprise picked up the crowd from a small funk and hallowbillies.... superb. The only thing missing from this weekend was Last Stop. but i can't complain about anything..... see you next year!

Best night of my life. We had flew in from Wisconsin for the weekend to enjoy the once in a lifetime experience of the Gorge and we absolutely got it. We started out GA Law this night and managed to run into a security who sold us pit tickets. I will be a Gorge fan for the rest of my life, and this just solidified my love the Dave Matthews Band.

This show was awesome, and the closest I've ever been to front-center, but I was left with a sour taste after the weekend closer, AATW. I feel like they should have at least switched the set closer with the encore run, I just am not a big fan of All Along the Watchtower anymore.

This was a great way to cap the weekend! The crowd was amped for the show and I could tell the band was feeding off of that! I loved the Halloween, Billies finish before the Dave Solo Sister and Watchtower ending. The Riff live was awesome! I can\'t wait to hear it again!

I'm Diana. Living in Port Orange, FL. Won 4 tix to Sat 9/1/12 show & stayed w/no tix for Sun 9/2/12 show & laid outside the amphitheater on my DMB/VW blanket & watched a meteor shower & shared some Lavender Cush with some great Dave fans. I love The Gorge and hope to move to WA/Seattle area soon. So The Gorge will be a yearly event for me in the future. Namaste

Amazing show. This night capped off my first trip to The Gorge and it had already been a spectacular weekend. While i was sitting in the law listening to the Avett Brothers jam, a friendly (blue shirted) livenation staff member offered me a pit wristband. At first I thought it was a joke but when he slapped that sucker on my wrist I ran down the hill as fast as I could. My friends apparently heckled him into hooking them up as well and we met by chance right in the front and enjoyed a great set! Tons of Packer fans all over, loved it!

After two years off, this was my 15th show and it was one of the best! Got to hear a lot of the AFTW songs for the first time but the entire show was great! Minarets, Dreaming Tree, LIOG Reprise, Halloween, Sister, Watchtower. Can't wait for next year!

Dave wore glasses and danced around the stage, otherwise pretty boring show... Oh yeah, the LIOG into Halloween into Tripping Billies followed by the Sister, AATW encore literally gave 5 people in the reserved section heart attacks. Sad.

Opening Minarets was killer. Best versions of a few songs i've heard: Gravedigger, Cornbread, Seek Up(maybe), YMDT. Belly Belly Nice was super sick. Closer LIOG to Halloween(best version) to TB was fantastic. The Riff and If Only are both great new tunes too.

My first show in 6 years. Crowd seemed older, drunker and way more obnoxious than ever. But band sounded better than ever.
Nice to see some old stuff like Minarets, Seek Up and Halloween mixed in with the new. Gravedigger full band was very nice. The drum solo intro sounded very Say Goodbye-ish. And as much as people loce to hate Cornbread, the song just faltout works live.
All in all, had a nice time.

Right above the walkway separating the grass from the rocky area just below, with Joel, Anna, Pulda, Ben, Josh K and Lavi. Loved You Might Die Trying, Seek Up and Watchtower as the encore. (Called the final song to Pulda for both Saturday and Sunday night's shows)

N3...What did the boys have left?...well alot apparently. I was a little worried that they had played everything and most of the songs I wanted to hear (So Right, Recently, Granny, One Sweet World) were a long shot. Well we didn\'t get any of those but what we did get was legit. Minarets as an opener is always solid. Gravedigger with the full band is really starting to become one of my favorites. The mood it spends off is strong and eery. Belly Belly Nice is my favorite song off the new album and kinda reminds me of a new Tripping Billies....I love Seek Up, but it really is too long of a song live. 20 mins really does just drag on. Raven is always strong....And then it happened which turned the whole night around. LIOG Reprisal>Halloween>Trippin Billies was the highlight of the weekend for me. Halloween, being my favorite song just hits so hard with so much emotion. I was on the hillside waving my pumpkin flag like a maniac and of course when Billies hit it just instantly changes the mood to love and the euphoria always gives me goosebumps. Sister encore was beautiful and I don\'t really care what others say. Dave loves it, and it means so much to him so we should back him up. From what I\'ve read on the message boards everyone was butthurt about Watchtower being the Sunday closer. I do understand all the commotion because we hear Watchtower every year as either the encore sat or sun, but its not like Watchtower is some dud by any means. It seemed like everyone wanted Last Stop, but c\'mon guys this was not \"the last stop\" of the tour so it it doesn't make all that much sense to send us away with Last Stop. Don't get me wrong, I was hoping for LS also but refuse to bitch about it when he doesn't play it. I walked out feeling completely 100% satisfied for the first time in years. My friends I go with usually get upset that I am such a hard critic for the live shows we see every year at the Gorge but I do hold the band to a higher standard after spending thousands of dollars, vacation time, and 27 shows later all at the same venue you start to feel the appeal wear off; well not this year. If anything the 2012 tour showed me how dedicated this band is and how lucky we are to see them live every Labor Day. I would rather see "I Did It" 32 times in a row rather than see no show at all but like I said after time you start to see the routine and cycle and can predict what is next. Sometimes it is great but I love surprises much more and I can not stress in text how great LIOG Reprisal>Halloween>Billies was.
Overall LIOG>HallowBillies saved the show and escalated it to 4.5 star status.
9th year straight, every night, every show and I\'m ready for year 10.

We got hooked up with Pit tickets thru an act of God. It's the closest I've sat ever. No big surprises, but an awesome show and awesome to get to see Halloween up close!

Opening with Minarets was OK. It isn't the most bouncing DMB song but it still was a rare one that I hadn't heard live before. Gravedigger was a treat too...hearing Carters drum intro was a dead giveaway. I always love what Jeff does in Dreaming Tree and that was also a great thing to hear. I do seriously like Belly Belly Nice too, it really brings back the old time spirit of DMB. However, hearing Mercy three times was a real let down and it was Too Much (No pun intended). My favorite part of the night was hearing the outro of Halloween where Dave interpolates the classic intro to Tripping Billies. Tripping Billies is a great show ender. Overall a great show.

Box 110. My 25th Gorge show since my first back in 1999 and unfortunately(in my opinion)it wasn't a good one. However, had a great time and know the 26th Gorge show will make up for this odd choice of a set list and it's order. Definitely had it's highlights but just not enough of them. Friday's show looks like it was the one to see.
