Incredible set list, not as much energy as the east coast

The show had a lot of energy. I was at the show the night before, way to many repeats. The first part of the show was best. All along the watchtower should not be played ever again! Gary Clark Jr was terrible and put me to sleep! Mimi thing again? Really? Halloween? That song is awful! After 67 shows, I will be back but had high hopes after seeing the setlists throughout the tour. Went to the Gorge this year, nothing will top that!

The band seemed to be having so much fun during this show! Their playing was crisp and tight, and even after all these years they always bring new elements to their songs. Hearing #34 was great, especially since after the song was over, Dave said, "For the birthday boy," which prompted the crowd to cheer in honor of Roi. The first few songs made it very easy to be excited about this show. Squirm was powerful, not one of my favorites, but The Stone, Big Eyed Fish, and Granny were an awesome way to follow that. The Stone especially was beautiful as always. Running Down a Dream was great. It gave Timmy a forum to do what he does best: shred the shit out of it. Jimi had a ton of guests on horns, and Watchtower and Rhyme and Reason both contained some pretty powerful electric guitar solos. All told, it was a pretty hard rock night. My favorite moment was the encore. Ants Marching was unique, in that during the violin jam at the end, the band stopped doing their punches altogether and let Boyd play on his own for several bars. That was really great. And this show will carry special weight for me, since I got to hear my first Halloween, after seeing 52 shows.

8 repeats from last night.... ! Highlight was #34 with vocals and Mike's guest spot. Dave's tired but they played for almost 3 solid hours.

I came expecting to hate the show, having sort of fallen off the DMB wagon and not listened to DMB for about 8 months. I was actually surprised how tight the band was and how low-key the woodwind-trumpet section was (which I prefer since they lost Roi). I think they were pretty well balanced, and Carter just rocked it. Took my new Girlfriend Jenifer and she enjoyed it. The set list was good, beautiful night, lots of fun.

Best setlist I\'ve seen. Solid performances. Had a weird angle cause of weird seats but truly awesome set. My friend and I came into the weekend looking for Halloween and we got it at the right time. That jimi thing with Bob mencer and Lasim Richards was ridiculous. Honestly, Bob mencer was the most talented musician to step foot on that stage that night and he showed it.. Yeah yeah jimis over played but holy hell was that good

This was my 15th show, first in Irvine. Not a fan of the venue, but the setlist was great and the band was on! Definitely top 2 for me.

Band was totally awesome, like always. Dave was fired up and full of energy. I'd like to rate them at a 6 for this. But there were SO MANY songs that I saw last night too, which was a bummer. I didn't expect so much overlap for a show that was just an hour and a half away from the previous night's venue. It makes me nervous about going to San Jose again tomorrow...

Amazing Set List and Summer ENERGY! Too Bad the venue blows with regards to getting out of the parking lot, but I guess it's my fault for going cheap on the babysitter!

Pains me to give it a 3 - in a vacuum it's better than that for sure - but unbelievable how many repeats from the night before. You've got 2 socal shows in a non-album year. IMHO, there should never be more than 2 or 3 repeats in sequential nights, but this night had 8 or more. I know a lot of other fans felt the same way walking out of there. I'm not PO'd - just really disappointed. They put on a good show but they have too much good music to share. Highlights: Running Down a Dream, #34 for LeRoi, R & R with Mike McCready [awesome] & Halloween closer.

Another stunning show.. many high points, no duds (except for rude audience members chatting it up during #34). The previous night in Chula Vista seemed more like jam/party time for the band, while this one was more of a 'showcase' (perhaps because there's no LA show.... gotta feed the music press) Would have liked fewer repeats (though Jimi Thing was especially stellar). My most satisfying takeaway from this show, was Dave's decision to let Gary Clark join them again Watchtower, after Clark played so horribly on it the previous night. They gave him a second chance, and he (more or less) rose to the occasion (as best he could). That says a whole lot about Dave! And then there was Halloween... wow!

My 30th show and definitely a highlight filled night - #34 on 'Roi's birthday, Mike McCready, and Gary Clark's slow build on Watchtower. The band was clearly having a great time all night and made my trip from FL worth every moment!
