An absolutely gorgeous evening, a full house and a rested band. Sounds like a recipe for a memorable show - right? Well, not exactly. Despite a crowd-pleasing song selection for the most part, plus a pretty decent pace, this set was put in a self-addressed stamped envelope and mailed in (via overnight express). My main issue was that the show started really late at almost 8:30 (for a venue with an 11pm hard-stop), and by the end the band seemed like they had one foot on the stage and another on the tour bus to Maine. The encore was especially hurried (and extremely stale), and it didn't help to learn afterwards that two songs were cut from it (which they knew in advance, hence the 8:30 start time). Last year the set was trimmed because of Cortez (a good reason) and this year I imagine it happened because Dave was tired from travelling (not a good reason). There also weren't any tour debuts which was disappointing. Bottom line: don't go to a show that is right after a break, Dave is across the country the day before (day of?), and the band has a tour stop the next night eight hours away. If you do, your show will be wrapped in a vanilla-flavored express envelope just like this one.

I always love seeing this band live. Overall, this was a pretty average show as far as the band goes. It was my 43rd (I think) show. Show highlights were Warehouse, Why I Am, Break Free and Minarets for me. Also, the crowd was amazing. NJ still loves this band for sure. Of the past few years at PNC I would say this was the weakest show of the bunch. That said, the band is doing pretty well if this was their weak show!

Great show...highlights were the new satellite jam, crush, and hearing the new songs for the first time for me. I love bismarck (great to sing along to) and samurai cop (love the emotion and sadness in it). Encore was a bit weak, but always happy to get a head start on the crowd leaving!

Edit - saw a set list scan and they cut two songs off of the encore. They didn\'t come on until 8:30. If they came out at 8:10-8:15 they would have had time for billies & rapunzel or could have cut something out of the main set. Nothing says mailing it in when you can\'t get out on stage 15 min earlier to get your whole planned set in.
I\\\\\\\'m sorry but this show to me felt like they just mailed it in. Nothing unique. Very predictable. In my opinion the new songs just aren\\\\\\\'t that good after listening to them several times and seeing them live also. When you play the same 2-3 new songs over and over at every show there is nothing exciting about hearing them. This is the first of seven shows I plan to go to this summer. Have been to well over 100 shows - I have a lot to compare to. I just feel as if they don\\\\\\\'t give a damn as much as they used to. Maybe it\\\\\\\'s bc they are older. Maybe because I\\\\\\\'m older. Maybe because they are worn out from 25 years of touring. But they def need a year off.

Wasn't expecting a "Satelite Jam". 2018 was way better but I missed it because I went to Camden N2. They had Robert Randolph at that Holmdel 2018 concert!

Great mix of old and new, standards and rarities. Warehouse, Song that Jane Likes, You Might Die Trying, Why I Am, Grey Street were all highlights for me. First live Crash, Warehouse and Nancies. All in all a show I'll remember fondly.
First time at this venue. Sound was just ok. Crown seemed pretty into it. PITA to get in through rough traffic.

I thought it was a great show. The band was energetic, the crowd was energetic and the set list had a really nice mix.
It was my first time seeing the band at this venue, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. This was one of the better shows I\'ve seen.
One word of warning for future shows: the police were pretty aggressive in the parking lots. I saw a few people being taken away in handcuffs.

Solid rockin set, similar to wonderful charlottsville show (thx to copperpot its online in beautiful form), just love break free and of course nancies warehouse. They are plying at a very high level this year, as last. Folks may say the encore disappointed, and maybe it did but on whole this show rocked, and it was ok getting back to the car by the end and getting out without delay.

Really nice setlist of some of the good old stuff with a twist and some of the new stuff was really nice to hear as well. Would have really liked to see them jam out a little more - but overall it was a great show and a beautiful night!

Nothing liberated but thought that the band had great energy all night. They seem to enjoy playing PNC despite the building itself not being anything special. Couldn\'t think of a better way to spend a Tuesday night.

First show of 2016. Went with Phil. Met some fun people in the lot. Cool venue and great set list. Satellite for me was a highlight as they had an extended solo section. Short encore but overall great show!!!
